Hunter just turned 3 months and WOW has he changed.  It seems like 3 months has been a big mile stone for Hunter.  He is no longer my little newborn.  Hunter is now laughing and I love it.  We started tickling him to laugh but now he can do it all by himself.  He is a little chatterbox too.  He has a stuffed dog (from Karen Preston) that he loves.  He wrestles with it and is either talking to it or yelling at it.  I’m not sure what he is saying but he seems happy and content.  I do feel sorry for the dog though since Hunter puts it through a good beating.  He notices the cats now.  As they walk by him he follows them and I just know he is thinking “oh what is that.”  The cats are going to be in for a big surprise when Hunter starts to crawl.  Oh and another thing, he is now playing in his jumperoo and walker.  According to daycare he is starting to go backwards in the walker.  Babies are the best!  It makes you stop and notice all the simple things like a baby smiling or laughing for the first time.

I'm of course trying to get Hunter to sleep for the night.  I'm hoping the swing will do the trick along with the rain machine which seems to work great at daycare but not at home.  It's already putting me to sleep.  In the meantime I'm surfing the net and found this website.  I've been looking for a new website that would allow me to (easily) add video clips since I just purchased a new digital camera with that feature.  I thougt it would allow friends and family who are far away keep up with little Hunter.  This site also offers a few other features that the other site didn't.  I hope changing sites will not be too painful for Hunter's loyal fans.  I know I havn't added any pictures yet.  Please be patient as I transfer them over.  I think he is finally asleep, lets see if I can get him into bed now w/o waking up.  Wish me luck - good night!

I'm picking Hunter up from daycare while another mom was picking up her baby.   She had an older girl with her who I'm assuming was her daughter.   The girl asked me if Hunter was a boy or girl?    In my head I was thinking are you serious?    Since I thought she was just being funny I said in a nice way he's a boy doesn't he look like a boy?   Again in my head I'm also thinking he is wearing blue boy clothing which should have answered her question from the start.   The girl looked at me and said no, he looks like a girl.   Again, is she serious?   From birth he has looked all boy to me.   My family is always commenting on how much he looks like a boy.   I know some babies can look like a boy or girl when they are that young but my baby looks like a boy.   No one has ever said he looks like or girl or even asked.   I'm trying to keep my cool since she is only 7 and plus I certainly don't want to make any enemies at daycare.   Her mom told her that she has to start looking at the color of the clothing before she starts asking questions like that.   Thank You!   After they left I looked at one of the daycare workers in disbelief and she said he looks like a boy to me.
