THANK YOU GOD!!!! I am amazed at the awesome power of our God! Just when I think I am about to lose it........He's there! Imagine my total shock when I found our I-171H in the mail today! (This is the I-600A approval we were waiting for) The last piece of the puzzle! We were told that our USCIS office for FL was running around 3 months for I-600A approvals. We were just fingerprinted on SATURDAY JUNE 2nd!! That is only 5 days ago and they are closed 2 of those!! AMAZING!! I suddenly have the strength to move forward!! Now we just need to send this piece of the puzzle off to be certified (including a return postage paid envelope I love you honey!) and our dossier will be complete and off to our agency!! We may even make the cut-off for the court closure!!

CERTIFICATION DILEMA UPDATE: Tried first thing this morning and was able to speak to a real human being in Tallahassee to find out that our paperwork will just be returned regular snail mail once certified. They prefer you send a return envelope so that your package is trackable but if you don't, they just return it reg mail. So...we will not be able to track our paperwork so now we just pray and trust that our USPS gets our it all safely back to our house! (We received our neighbor's mail today! Of all days!) God has such a great sense of humor doesn't He!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLAKE!!!! He turns 10 today!!

Ok....Fair warning to all!!
I am finding that I am getting very impatient with this whole paperwork thing! I'm tired of thinking about it every waking second and I want it all to be done RIGHT NOW! YEAH....RIGHT!!!! If it were only that easy!!
Actually, I just found out that Mark did not include a return postage paid envelope with ALL of our documents that he sent off on Tuesday! I am a little freaked b/c it states very clearly on the website that you must include this!! I can't get a hold of an actual person to find out what to do! These are all the papers I have been collecting and getting notarized for months now and I don't know what the SOS is going to do with them! I have an e-mail and phone call in to Tallahassee and will again WAIT!!!!

FINGERPRINTING ACCOMPLISHED! Well, we showed up to our second appointment time and date and everything went like clockwork! We arrived 30 minutes early, walked right in and were out 6 minutes after our scheduled time! So a total of 36 minutes and we were done! Now we just wait for our approval and then we can proceed! We also sent our other documents (18 to be exact) out on Tuesday to be certified so we will only need to have our I-171H certified when it arrives! Waiting to get those returned to us too! WAITING, WAITING, WAITING This would best describe my feelings today!!

HAPPY MOMMY'S DAY!! What else is there to say! I had one of the best Mommy's Days ever this year! Mark and the kids surprised me with a beautiful necklace! (See under photos) It was a well kept secret too! The necklace has a little charm for each of my boys and girls and the charms have each of their birthstones. SO SWEET!!!! I also included a picture of some of the other things that I received! Mostly handmade which I think are the best!!!!
