Another story to add to the mix.........
On our medical forms, it asks if you are currently taking any medications and what they are. Dr. put down that Mark is taking Nasonex and Claritin (both are for allergies). We got an e-mail from our agency rep stating that we would have to get a Dr's note regarding what these medications are and why Mark is taking them. My first thought was, THIS IS RIDICULOUS but she explained that while these medications are so common here (even otc) they are not in Ethiopia and that the government officials would not know what they were nor what they are used for. So, that is what we will do. It just seems kind of funny. First, Mark was not physically, or mentally sound to take care of a child and now this! Too funny!
