Day's of ''47 Parade!!!

Today we got up early and went to Salt Lake and watched the Day of '47 Parade!!! We had a lot of fun!!! We got to see President Hinkley wave at us because he was the grand Marshal of the Parade! Kelty had a ton of fun waving and clapping for all of the floats and entree's. We really liked the UHP on their motorcycles. They were very entertaining!!!

Today we took Kelty to Temple square after church. She had a lot of fun running around the fountains and gardens. She also had a blast splashing in the main street plaza fountain. She got so into it and close to the water that her bangs got wet (I will post a picture later). We are glad that she didn't try to drink the water, YUCK.

Kelty went on numerous hikes last week. We took her to Red Cliffs, Snow Canyon, and Zions!!! She did very well and we had a great time.

Kelty hiked with her Aunts and Uncles and some cousins when we went to Zions!!! We all had a blast together. (Kelty did get tired in hungry, but considering that she handled it very well).

Kelty went on her first hike in Zion's today. We hiked Emerald Pools. She handled it very well! She fell asleep in her Kelty carrier for part of it! It was a beautiful day today.

Kelty entered the world today on her Grandma's Birthday. My first contraction was at 1:17 am this morning. At 3:30 am I went to the hospital and I was dialated to 5 cm. Between 5:30 and 6:00 I got an epidural and I was dialated to 6 cm. At about 7 am my Doctor came in and broke my water. At around 7:45 am they gave me a little pitocin. By 8:00 I was dialated to 10 cm and 100% efaced. I started pushing at 8:15 am and Kelty was born at 9:35 am. I got to hold her for a couple of hours before they took her to the nursury and cleaned her up. We are very proud, excited parents. Our little girl is a happy, healthy, and beautiful baby.
