You've got to check out the photos section for pictures of Allana's first spanking on her hand!    We have already put outlet covers in all the outlets, but there is one set that she will not quit touching.  We've tried telling her no, redirecting, everything.  This evening, she kept going back to them and touching them.  Dan would tell her "No!" and she would laugh at him and touch them again.  So after a few times of telling her no and squeezing her hand, Dan popped her hand.  She didn't cry, but she turned and looked at me like, "Did you see what he just did?  Do something, Mommy!"  I can't believe I caught her first little spanking on film...

There are also a few pictures of our trip to the park today.  She just wants to climb on everything now, so we take her there and let her climb to her heart's content!

Allana has been a great eater the past week - we think she's going through a growth spurt.  Blueberries are her favorite thing right now; she would eat as many as we gave her. 

She has recently figured out that sometimes we are eating something different than we are feeding her, and that makes her FURIOUS!  Once she's caught on to the difference, if we try to give her a bite of her meal, she'll close her mouth and shake her head no.  Then she'll sign "more" and point to our plate.  It is hilarious!  Today at lunch we were feeding her pasta and peas while we ate peanut butter & jelly sandwiches.  She got about halfway through when she realized we were eating sandwiches - no more pasta or peas.  She kept signing more and pointing to our sandwiches.  Finally we took some strawberry applesauce and put it on a piece of bread and folded it in half for her own sandwich - she ate the whole thing!  From now on, we'll have to make sure that we're only eating things she can eat, too!
