Field trip with the four year olds

Today, I scheduled a trip to the post office for the preschool class that I teach, and Allana got to tag along. We met at the post office around 10, stayed there until 11, and then went to Chick-Fil-A for lunch and playtime! She had a great time with the big kids!
When we arrived, she of course saw the play area. I told her we had to eat first, and then play, and she did a great job obeying and cooperating. She had chicken strips and fruit, and loved the polynesian sauce as much as I do! I got a great picture of her trying to drink it, ha ha!
When she was done eating, she waited for me to finish and then we headed to the play area to hang out with my four year olds! She didn't miss a bit - she climbed right up, saying, "Bye, mommy! I climb!" and off she went. My students were so sweet to watch out for her, and they'd yell down to me, "Here she comes, Mrs. Rachael!" before she came blazing down the slide. With a huge smile on her face, she would look up at me and exclaim, "MORE!"
After almost an hour of playing, she was sweating. I told her, "Last time, Allana," and she was very obedient when she finished - came right to me and out the door we went.
She was ready for a nap when we got home - it takes a lot of energy to keep up with the big kids!
