From the mouth of Lana

A few of my favorite things that Lana has said this week:
- We were on our way to preschool Tuesday morning, and I asked Lana who she was going to play with. "Olivia!" she shrieked. "I love my friend Olivia!"
- We have been telling Lana that the baby in my tummy is Mommy's baby and Daddy's baby and her baby - we want her to feel a sense of ownership...that this baby belongs to our family. So today going down the road in the car, I asked her "Whose is the baby in Mommy's tummy?" Without missing a beat she replied: "God's." Well, yes, actually. Exactly true.
- She put on some white socks with some cotton lace fringy stuff and said, "Look, my socks have snow!!"
- Dan cut his hair into a (temporary) mohawk. Lana took one look at it, and said with great delight: "Daddy, you look like a horsey!!"
- Tonight we were doing family hugs before putting Lana in the bed, and Lana leaned back so she could see both of us and said, "I just love you guys."
- We were listening to Lana on the monitor, and heard her saying to her baby, "Come here, you sweet baby. You come here." SO ready to be a big sister!
