The past two weeks have been such a blur - we have had such a wonderful time at home in Alabama.
Lana has been with family members during the past week as Dan & I took a cruise for our 5th anniversary. She stayed a few days with her Uncle Brother, Aunt Janika, and cousin Jake. Then she stayed a few days with her Nana and PawPaw (Dan's parents), and spents lots of time playing with her Uncle Barcus, Aunt Mackenzie, and cousin Noah. And then she stayed a few days with her Sue Sue (Rachael's mom). By all accounts, she has had a wonderful time and has been very good for everyone. We are in the airport on our way home today, and we cannot wait to get our hands on her - how we have missed her!
Her grandparents, aunt and uncle all say she has learned lots of new tricks! We're told she can say her cousin Jake's name, give "big hugs", pat her head when you ask her "where's the pretty baby?", point to herself when you ask "where's Lana?", crawl to her pack and play to go to sleep when you ask if she wants her lovey, knows the flashcards for ice, cat, and dog, and can stand unassisted for 6 or 7 seconds at a time. Are they all just bragging or has she really learned to do all these things while we've been away??
