Landon came home from the hospital on Sunday. On Tuesday we were on our way back up to childrens hospital for some testing on his heart and lungs, and we were in a horrible car accident. I was driving on I-270 (5 lanes) i was in the center lane, and a Blue car i guess didnt see me and was coming into mylane, i knew he was gonna hit me, and i swerved because i had landons oxygen tank in the back, and was afraid that Our car would explode if he hit it. Well i guess he ended up clipping me and caused me to lose control, and at that point the car lost control and we did a huge 360 in the center lane, and the impact of the other car hitting me caused my airbags to come out so i couldnt see what i was gonna hit, and i ended up hitting the ditch and the "falling rock wall" they have up. We hit that head on. i was so scared. Landon had blood all over his face, id idnt know what was wrong, and i was bleeding too. The guy in front of me pulled over and helped us. The ambulance got us, and took us. I i refused treatment til i knew landon was ok, and they were treating him, and i ended up passing out, so once dh got there they transferred me to the other hospital. We were sure i had a broken tail bone. but i didnt.

All i had was a bruised tail bone(which is extremely painful by the way) and 50 cuts on my arm and a 3rd degree burn from the steering wheel on my hand. But bruises from head to toe!!!!

Landon escaped with an abrasian from the carseat on his neck and he bit his tongue! THAT was it!!!! IT was a true miracle that we survived.

The guy that hit us left the scene. they have no clue who or where he is.

The insurance called and totalled the car which we knew. But i have to say. This is the car we just bought last week , and it saved our life! had we been in an older car and the air bags not ejected, i cannot imagine what could have been the damage to me.

Here is a folder to the pictures of the car

And for those of you helping with the site of the fundraiser for landon THANK YOU!!! we are getting closer each day to reaching the goal !

Landon is in the hospital. We got here yesterday, and they will not release him until Monday at the earliest. His wheezing was way out of control, and his heart is working very hard. His breathing has been getting worse, but wow it wasn't this bad. Now just for him to take a bottle he is out of breath. It is unreal. I don't like seeing him this out of breath. Monday my pediatrician will call my pulmonary office and either do a direct admit up there, or we will get a visit later in the week.  Right now his heartrate runs between 170-190. Right now thats all there is to report. i am very tired so i will post more after i hear fromt he dr later in the weekend.

Landon had another Birthday party yesterday at his other grandmas. It went pretty good. IT's still an adjustment with him on oxygen and not being free to roam around like he wants. But we are managing.

Wednesday he goes in for his nocturnal oximetry testing. We will see how that test turns out IF its not a good report he will go on oxygen at night.

Not really much more to report, here are few pics from the party!

Well we thought we were going for a quick pulm check up, but ended up turning into chaos. Landon is on oxygen now for feeding and therapy, and any playtime. He has to work so extremely hard to breathe, we are seeing if this will help. She wasn't hearing alot of breath sounds in the left lung so thought this might help. We are going wednesday for a nocturnal oximetry study to see if he needs it at night also. It's always something.

Then today we get the news that we have a bill from therapy that is now 22,000.00 and insurance is not going to pay for it. UGGH! UGGH! UGGH! Nothing like being denied for disability, even though you have 2 disabled children, and denied for disability insurance. Living on one income with Landon's needs for medical is getting to be outrageous. I am really starting to stress on these medical bills.

Tomorrow we will celebrate Landon's birthday at the inlaws house. Hopefully we can put all things aside and not think of the finacial burden we have right now and just enjoy the day.

please let there be a light at the end of our tunnell. How much more can our family take????

Leaving you with a picture of Landon with his new hair cut!
