This morning Mommy woke uprefreshed!  It was the first time I had slept all the way through the night!  Let's just call in my gift to her in celebration of my parent's anniversary.  Can you believe they've been married for 8 years!  Man, that's a long time - way longer than I've even been alive!  But they're old, so I guess it's not a long time to them.

I'm 7 weeks old!  I'm starting to sleep a little better through the night and Mommy LOVES that!  She only has to get up to feed me once, maybe twice during the night.  Especially now that sh's back at work and Daddy has to work nights.  Mommy said it wasn't so tough for her to go back to work knowing that I would be with my Nonnie during the day.  My sissy, Elise, got to go back to her bi-lingual daycare.  Mommy didn't want her away from her Spanish language skills too long.  But all I have to say to my sissy is..."neener, neener, neener, I get to be with my Nonnie!"   (That's me smiling - minus the teeth!)

I went to the doctor today for my 6 week check up.  It was mostly a bummer because I had to get a few immunization shots, but I didn't cry long.  The doctor looked me over and said I looked great.  She even commented how strong I am. 

I weighed 12 lbs 7 oz

My height was 22 inches

My head size was 15 inche

Today I am oficially 6 weeks old!  I'm getting big and strong.  I'm smiling a lot now and even starting to get a bit chatty.  I'm more alert and am starting to notice my surroundings, especially pretty lights and patterns.  But I still like to snooze quite a bit.

Now that I'm a big boy, I get to go start spending my days with Nonnie.  Beginning tomorrow Nonnie and I get to hang out together during the day while Mommy goes back to work.  My sissy is going back to her bilingual daycare, and in about a month I'll start to join her there too.

Lots of fun and exciting changes in my life!

I'm four weeks old today!  Mommy called me her old man...haha.  I am growing big and strong.  Everyone says what a good baby I am.  I only cry when I'm hungry or gassy, just like my Daddy.

Today I had to go back to the doctor...only this time it was to do the unmentionable...you guessed it...circumcision.  OWIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Nonnie went with me because Mommy was too much of a whimp to stay with me during the procedure.  So my Nonnie comforted me while Mommy and Elise played in the waiting room.  I think Mommy would have cried more than I did!

The procedure went well and thankfully very quickly.  So don't worry, I'm okay.

But guess what?  When they weighed me I weighed 9 lbs. 10 oz, my height was 20 3/4 inches, and my head size was 14 1/4 inches.

I'm growing for sure!

I went back to the doctor's office for my 2 week check up today.  And guess what...I'm packin' on the weight!  I weighed 8lbs. 5.4 oz. and my length was 20 1/2".  Oh and did I mention that my noggin size measured 14"!!  Mommy says I'm a growin' boy!

Today I was camping out on Mommy for a nice snooze.  I was still nursing, but in a sleepy kind of way when Mommy noticed that my eyes were in REM mode.  She called Daddy over to watch them move all around.  She wondered what I was dreaming about when all of a sudden I flashed a most adorable toothless smile and lett out a couple of cute little giggles.  So I sure must have been dreaming about something funny!
