Ross's first visit to the dentist
posted on 26/01/2009

Ross did so well today with his first visit to the dentist.  He sat on my knee and opened his mouth to show the dentist his lovely teeth!

When we out to the reception area after appointment, Ross said " nice teeth " which was really funny!Smile

He got a lovely winnie the pooh sticker to put on his jumper.

Baby Winne the Pooh and Tigger Pictures, Images and Photos

Going to visit little Cameron this afternoon with my Mum, Ross and Owen.

He is 3 days old and doing well.  Joanne is breastfeeding at present and managing to express.  She didn't sleep well last night so will be tired, poor thing, i remember what that's like!!

Ross and Owen saw Cameron on Wednesday night but they'll see him again today.

When you ask Ross who Cameron is he says "Jo's baby!" It's so cute!Smile

Boys having a rest just now but we're going to my mum's for lunch shortly before we go to the hospital.

Bye for now xx

Tuesday 20th January 2009

Joanne gave birth to Cameron George by C Section at 2.03pm weighing 6lb 12oz!

Both mother and baby doing well.

Joanne had a spinal anaesthetic and got on fine with the delivery.  Cameron started to cry as soon as he was born and began to breastfeed quite quickly on return to the ward from recovery.

Joanne was given morphine via her spinal and seemed quite comfortable when mum and i went to visit in the afternoon.  Cameron was only 2 hours old when we met, he is a beautiful baby with a lovely little face.  He had a small amount of fair hair and long fingers!

I loved meeting my new nephew!

In the late afternoon, Joanne lost some more blood so her IV fluids were speeded up and she had some bloods taken which had dropped at bit but were stable.

She felt a bit better after that.

In the evening her colour was better and seemed comfortable.

Dad, Mum and i went to visit in the evening also.

Joanne is now at the maternity ward awaiting the delivery of her first baby tomorrow. I can't wait to meet my darling neice or nephew. She was admitted at 2.30pm and will get some routine pre op bloods taken etc. She will also see her midwifes, consulatant and anaesthetist.

Baby has been breech for quite a while now, C Section is booked for tomorrow, not sure if morning or afternoon but we'll find out later.

Will be going to visit her tonight.
