Here are photos of the reception and outside the hotel in the snow

After christmas shopping, we went to the leisure area of the hotel and we went swimming and also used the sauna and steam room.  Went down the flume a couple of times, my bikini stayed on lol! Once when we were in Florida my bikini bottoms came off in the wave pool at typhoon lagoon!! WDW ( that was when we were on honeymoon).

The meal at night was lovely, i had scallops in orange and hazelnut butter served with a pancetta crisp to start and John had carrot, orange and chili soup which was very nice.

I had roast beef and john had sirloin steak with a peppercorn sauce.  I had red wine with my meal and john and a couple of pints of beer.

In the bar afterwards, i had 2 buds and a double Glenmorrangie malt whisky which was lovely.  John had a couple more beers.

Sunday 23rd November

Had a lovely breakfast this morning.  I had fresh fruit and orange juice followed by a lovely cooked breakfast of fried egg, sausage, bacon, field mushrooms, tomato and potato scone.  I had tea and toast also.

John had cereal and fruit juice followed by a cooked breakfast with coffee and toast.

In the morning had a look round a/more shops then went back to i/n in the afternoon.

I treated myself to a nice brown handbag and got some more christmas presents.

Back at the hotel later we went swimming again and played with a ball in the pool.  Back in the steam room, not a great lover of that, too hot for my liking!! Sauna is slightly less like an oven so i can bear that !! It was good fun though

We went for our meal at 8.15pm and i had lovely smoked salmon to start and john had tomato and basil soup.

For my main course i had lemon sole with prawns and a side order of creamed potatoes.  John had lamb.  For my sweet i had pear tart tatin with honeycomb icecream and John had choc and orange tart.

I had red wine with my meal and John had a beer.

Had the same drinks as the night before in the bar after the meal.

It was a lovely evening

Monday 24th November

Had same breakfast as the morning before except i had scrambled eggs instead of fried.

It was a lovely weekend and a nice break away.

Got home at lunchtime to see Ross and Owen, we missed our babies!

My best friend Pauline is pregnant with her first baby!

She was one of my bridesmaids and i have known her since i met John as she is married to his best friend, Hammy.

Their baby is due on the 10th June 2009!

Ross is 2 years old today, Happy Birthday Darling!

We gave him an indoor shoot, a winter coat and three tops.  Owen gave him a thomas the tank engine playset.

Nana and Dada ( what ross calls Grandad now!)gave him a great remote control car, 2 pairs of lovely cords, a bob the builder shirt, a red fleece jumper and a lovely chocolate brown jumper.

Auntie Jo and Uncle Coco ( ross calls chris this now!) gave him a great Grandpa Pig Train and lovely matching arran jumpers for Ross and Owen.

Granny and Grandad gave him a bob the builder tool set, thomas the tank top and a lovely jumper.

Renee and Geordie gave him a nice bodywarmer and Linda gave him a gaa gaa mask and three lovely books. He also got a woolies gift voucher from Uncle Jimmy. Edith gave the boys lovely christmas stockings and ross jelly sweets and 2 disney books.  Margaret and Jimmy gave him a book and hat.  Jean gave him a cute thats not my monster book.

Ross really enjoyed his birthday. He loved going down his new shoot and playing with his new toys.

He tried to blow out his birthday cake candles, we helped him with it.
