We had a lovely time at Ross and Owen's Christening.
Brian B the minister who married John and I baptised the boys at our house. It was a lovely ceremony.
Brian signed the back of their birth cerficates and gave them baptism certifates also.
Neil and Fiona ( our friends) became the boy's godparents.
Mum, Dad, Joanne, Chris, Cameron, Jemma and Eilidh( neil and fiona's daughters) were there.
Mum and Dad gave the boys a lovely Christening Cake and beautiful cards. They also gave Ross a lovely silver train money bank and Owen a lovely silver and crystal rocking horse ornament.
John and I gave the boys a Christening Day photoframe and snow globe ornament.
Joanne, Chris and Cameron gave us lovely flowers and will pay for us to have a family portrait taken in the next few weeks by a photographer.
Neil, Fiona and the girls gave Owen a baby keepsake book with boxes for first hair cut, tooth etc.
Ross got a lovely christening set with silver egg cup, napkin ring and silver spoon.
Coreen and Brian gave the boys a lovely silver double photoframe.
The boys were very lucky!
We then had a buffet lunch and enjoyed the lovely Christening cake.
We were out playing football and we heard a train coming but it didn't sound like a normal train....it was a lovely steam train. Ross was so excited as he loves trains. He has never seen a steam train before. It must have been a special one for easter sunday as we don't normally see them in our area.
My mum and dad are away for the weekend at s/f for my Uncle Keith's 70th Birthday.
They had a nice meal at the hotel they are staying at with the family last night and today having a lunch out for Uncle Keith's 70th birthday today.

Went to the P Barn with John and the boys today. It is a converted farm barn and is a soft play area with 4 levels. It has ball pools, lots of climbing areas and a large shute. There is an area for babies and younger toddlers which Owen enjoyed. He even went down a small slide with me.
We were there for 1 1/2 hours and it was good fun.

Ross and i went to Sarah's daughter Moya's 6th Birthday Party.
It was the first time he had been to a party apart from his own and he seemed to really enjoy it. The children will mostly 5-6 years but he fitted in well, even playing pass the parcel and other good party games.
He also enjoyed all the party food, and was the last to leave the table lol!
