JOURNAL 31/01/2008Wow! What an exciting evening mommy and I had. Mommy and I were sitting in the living room and we heard 3 loud pops and the backyard sky just lit up! It was fireworks! Mommy went to see in the backyard and she saw the hydro pole and a tree were on fire!!!! She called 911 right away. Within minutes a fire truck showed up with flashing lights and all! It was so cool. I never saw a fire truck so close before...Especially with firemen and all their gear! They stayed for a bit but couldn't do anything until the Hydro people came to turn off the electricity. Finally the fire was out and the Hydro people had come and gone, so mommy put me to bed. She stayed up to watch Lost. She loves that show. |
Then at midnight mom told me the power went out! The Hydro guys had come back to fix something. So I missed all that. I slept thru the whole thing, but I'm glad I got to see the fire truck!
