| How frustrating! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and other families. Primary vision refers to the primary cortex of the brain (V1)responsible for processing info about static and moving objects, pattern recognition, and the blind spot. Secondary visual cortex of the brain (V2) is responsible for depth perception, recognition of shapes and colors. However, there is hope! There are three other areas of the brain (V3, V4, V5) that process the same info. They are not as strong, but they serve the same functions. This seems like good news, and I hope this makes you feel better and gives you hope! |
