I just wanted to thank so many of our friends  for leaving replys and encouraging messages to what we have posted. It means alot to us. Anyone can leave a note in the guest book at any time, or post on pics and or any journal entry. please feel free to voice your self here. I do!!!!!!

This is a place I come to vent about alot of things that are bothering me and to celabrate movement in our case.

Well we arrived safely back home late sunday night, it seemed like forever getting back.

The trip was amazing to say the least, even though we only got to spend 2 days with Zackary, We arrived at the hotel about 12:30pm and got checked in, then started to look around the hotel and taking some pics (wasting time waiting on Zack to get there)

We had the most wonderful shuttle driver(wish I could remember his name though)he took us to the market to do some shopping for soda, bottled water and things. So we got to see some of the city away from the hotel areas.

Zack arrived at about 3:30 and we went down to the lobby, there he was all bundled up, the FM unwrapped him and Aby said "This is your baby" the minute I laid eyes on him I started crying... (LOL big cry baby I am) He was the most precious thing I had ever seen. The FM hands him to me and I kiss and look at him and then hand him to Steve asking do you want to hold him? Well of course you know Daddy wants his lil boy LOL We talk for a few minutes and Aby tell us that the Birth mother said to her "that Zackary is very lucky to have us" That broke my heart, but I was so happy to hear that.

We get back up to our room and start to unwrap him and look at how tiny he really is under all the covers. So tiny but still precious!!!! and of course the cameras come out  LOL

That night Zack got really sick, he was coughing, wheezing, sneezing and was just so congested. We was up just about all night trying to comfort him and nothing was working. he would sleep about 30-45 minutes and back up crying. Being 1st time parents we didnt know how to make him feel better, and that made me feel so bad that his own Mommy didnt know what to do. Finally about 4:30am  he fell asleep and slept till about 7ish.

Steve got up and went down to get on computer to get Aby's # to call her, he wanted to take Zack to the doctor and see what the problem was (gotta love him for that) he was scared after we was told of all the babies that was catching pnemonia and being sick. Aby came to the hotel and was holding Zack, he had a fever and still sounded so bad. She said with in 10 minutes he has colic. OK why didnt someone tell us he had colic?? She asked if she could have the FM come and get him because he was sick, we told her what ever was best for Zack is what we wanted to do. The minute she walked out the door I lost it, knowing I would not be spending the time I had so much hoped for with him, and we wouldnt being seeing again for another 3 months was just heart breaking for me. Steve was being so strong and trying to hold himself together. But I just couldn't. Steve says that I cried for 4 hrs that night. And the next day wasnt much better, I didnt want to do anything but stay in bed and cry. (Poor Steve)

All in all we dont regret 1 single minute of our trip although it was not what we had planned. We got to see, hold and smell our son!!! give him his bath before bed and bond with him even if it was only for a short while. Would we do it all over again? YES in a heart beat!!!!

We miss him so much, I think of him every minute of everyday since we have been home. And am constantly looking at all the pics we took. We can not wait to go back and be with him again!!! and hopefully that is soon.

Aby also said she was just waiting on 1 peice of paper to have DNA done. Well low and behold that paper was in our email and we sent it to her right away it was the PD receipt from Lab Corp. We talked to her on Sunday morning before we left and she said the test will be done before Thursday. So now we just wait on the test results then on to PA wait. Right now they are speeding up some and are running 45 or so days from 65ish days. I'm not sure if we are in Family Court or not with everything else going on we forgot to ask that.

SO WOOHOOOO the DNA is being done today or tomorrow!!!!! count down for results will start Friday, hopefully they will be in by the 28th!!!!!

we are all packed and ready to go, we are sooo excited to be going, nervous and scared of how I will react when we have to hand him back to FM on Sunday.... I just can't think about that now!!!!

I know every minute with Zack is going to be wonderful, and we will be making precious family memories.

Steve dont seem to awfully nervous.(at the moment)... thank goodness!!!!

OK everyone we planned our 1st trip!!!! we are flying out Sept 13 at 5:45 am WOOOHOOOO!!!! we can't wait to see and hold him!!!!! we will get him Thursday afternoon and get to keep him till Sunday morning!!!! yaaaayyyyyy!!!!

We are both scared and nervous as well as sooooo excited!!!!!  Steve got to pick his window seat!!!! but its not 1st class (Geoff) LOL

Now to get busy with getting everything ready to go..... 2 weeks and counting down!!!!! gotta buy luggage as this is our first real trip that dont involve a duffle bag  LOL  More baby clothes!!!! some diapers, wipes, medicines, toys (what does a 3 month old play with?) some baby towels, wash clothes, and I could go on and on, haha

WOOHOOOOOO WE GET TO SEE OUR SON!!!!!!!!!

I think we are going to go visit sooner than we had thought, Steve says he can tell this whole process is getting to me as we have no answers to what is taking so long with DNA, plus we really want Zack to have all the things we bought for him!!!! He says he can tell I'm getting upset over this whole things and he feels this is one way to get me to settle down some!!!! Bless his heart!!!! I can't wait to hold him!!!! and I WILL HAVE NEWS PICS!!!! when we return!!!! tons of them...

So it looks like right now we are going down  for a short trip early and again in late Nov - Early Dec.  for a week. I just really need to hold my baby boy!!!!! and see him!!!!

We are still waiting on DNA auth from the US Embassy.... We have been told this could take up to 2 months... ughhhhhh

This process seems like alot of HURRY and WAIT   LOL I just want it done so we can move on to another wait... for PA(pre-approval)from US Embassy that as I have said is taking 60+ days to receive now.... another BIG ugghhhhh....

And if you look at his updated you will see we received a new medical update..... he is growing like a weed LOL

We have decided on when we are going to visit: We will be leaving Wed. Nov 14th -Sunday Nov 18th. It will be the best 5 days!!!!! until its time to give him back to his Foster Mom, and I'm sure I will just lose it and be a mess for days!!!! But it will all be worth every tear shed.... And Steve says he is taking a pic of Zack with him so when we are flying he can look at it and the flight wont be as bad for him.... LOL
