Nana, you and I went shopping.  We stopped at Talbot’s and Mommy picked out a birthday present (she’ll be 30 this year!) from Nana, Due Maternity where Nana bought you cute little Mary Jane socks, and we went to Precious Cargo and the Silver Spoon boutique.

Nana, you and I went to a Mommy and Me connection, a group of mommies who talk about breastfeeding, and then went to Babies ‘R Us where Nana bought you a jstroller and some little sleepers that fit you better.  It was very nice of Nana!  You were out for 4 ½ hours, and you ate formula without a problem  You are such a good baby!  I’m feeling much more comfortable about taking you out.  We saw John Morgan at Chick-fil-A!  He came to say hi.

You played on your mat for tummy time for a very little while today, and you rolled from your tummy to your side to your back!  Aunt Melissa comes to visit today.

Daddy went back to work today.  You had a pediatrician appointment and Dr. Hines said that we had done a great job and that you had gained 10 ounces!  She said that we didn’t have to feed you every 3 hours, just when you let us know you were hungry, although we shouldn’t let you go more than 4 hours.  I can also try to just breastfeed you without offering the bottle.  What a relief!

Your first 4^th of July!  Your umbilical cord fell off today.  It looks like you have an outie!

Nana arrived earlier than expected – she couldn’t wait to get on the road and come see you!

Grandma and Grandpa stopped by before they went home

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit!  They brought lots of little clothes for you.
