Olivia has been having a great time with her harness off for baths. Shes out grown her first bath, so we went and got her a green elmo bath which she can kick her legs in and not bash her head!

Shes sleeping much better, although not straight through.

Only 4 more weeks til we see the specialist...

Well, we saw the specialist and Olivia has to have her harness on for another 6 to 12 weeks, but at least we can take it off for 20 minutes a day to bath her and let her have a bit of a kick. She saw the nurse this week as well and has put on a kilo in a month and now weighs 5.2kgs... thought she was getting heavy:)

Shes smiling and chuckling and still not sleeping great. How I miss my uninterrupted sleep!!!

Olivia is much better now after a week and a half of being unwell. Shes had her first vaccination...she was fine, but I cried!!! Shes smiling, chuckling and talking now. All she needs to do is sleep throughout the night, but we are working on that!!! On 21st June we have the specialist appointment to see if she can come out of the harness. Crossing fingers all goes well, then we can see how her little legs are growing:)

My baby is sick :( Shes got a bug which has made her sleepy and projectile vomit everywhere. Shes a little better today, drinking a little more and not throwing too much of it up. Its really hard to see her so sick. We are hoping that it wont stay with her for too long.

Olivia has a cold and is pretty grumpy. We have put her in her own room for the past 2 nights with some success the first night and not much the second night, but i think its to do with not feeling good. Shes going ok with her harness and having a sponge bath is becoming much easier on my behalf!

Its been a busy week. Olivia now weighs 3.9kgs and is 52cms long. She is growing so fast! We went to the specialist yesterday for her hip dysplasia and she has been fitted with a pavlik harness for the next 6 weeks. We cant take it off to bath her, so she will be getting sponge baths from now on. All going well it will be only for 6 weeks..will keep you informed:)

Not too much is happening here with Olivia. Shes getting big, her head is bigger and shes a lot longer. She gave me a bit of a smile today, not a wind smile but an actual smile. Shes much more alert and loves to look at her musical mobile which her Grandma gave her. Shes sleeping a little better during the night, giving me a 3 hour gap between feeds.

Well I have mastitis and have been sick. Other than that, little miss moo is growing lots, she is now 3.250gms ang 50cm long. Shes alert and finding her hands. Today she is 4 weeks old:)
