21 weeks 2 days Not much new has happened. Had my midwife appointment last week. Blood pressure 100/60. Didn't get to listen to the heartbeat this time though. As you can see my belly is growing now and I've put on 4 kilos. I'm not feeling as many kicks now. Must be getting too cramped in there. Still having crazy dreams all night long and can't get into that deep sleep anymore. And sometimes I wake up with cramps in my calves but nothing too bad at all.

20 weeks 1 day I can't believe that I am already half way through the pregnancy now. But I guess when I look back it does seem like quite a while. I seems like ages ago that I had morning sickness now. Both belly and baby are growing and baby is kicking even harder now. Daddy is quite impressed! Mum spent the weekend here with us and we had a lovely relaxing time. She left last night and I didn't want her to go. Hopefully I'll see her again soon. I finally bought something for the baby on Friday. Just some cloth nappies and some fitted flannelette ones And put a pram on layby. Feels better to have something done.

19 weeks 2 days Yesterday afternoon we had our 19 week ultrasound. Baby wasn't being helpful at all. It was all curled up down low and didn't want to show it's face for the camera. All the measurements were fine which is the main thing and itis still moving around a lot. We even got a wave at one point. I have put a picture on the photo scan page if you can figure out what is what.

18 weeks 5 days I have been a bit sick this week. I had to go home from work on Tuesday because I had some kind of tummy bug. Not nice. I slept all day and all night pretty much and felt better the next day. However whatever it was is still hanging around as I still have no appetite (yes you read that right!! Shock horror!) and still have the runs. It seems to be going around though because David and his Mum weren't well either. One the plus side, there are only 3 more sleeps until we go in for our big 19 week ultrasound. We are getting it put onto a video so I can show Mum when see arrives in Melbourne on Thursday. Thank God it's Friday!!!! It's been a tiring week.

17 weeks 5 days Last night David started reading to the baby. Just the front page of the local paper but I think the baby liked it because it was kicking me when he was reading it.

17 Weeks 1 Day Still going strong and I'm feeling the kicks more often now and they are getting harder. On Friday night David felt the kicks too which was a pretty special moment. I have a horrible headache today and it's not just because today is Monday. I'm still sleeping pretty well and my belly isn't big enough to cause me uncomfort yet. Our kitchen benches went in on Friday and it looks great. Now we are just waiting for Uncle Paul to hook up the appliance so we can eat normal food again. I'm so sick of microwave meals and I'm sure the baby is too.

16 Weeks 4 days We had another midwife check up last night at the hospital. All is going well. She felt my tummy and could feel the uterus and it was just where it should be. Then she took my blood pressure and it was 90/50 which she thought might be a bit low but I said that's normal for me. Then she asked if we wanted to try to hear the heartbeat with the doppler machine and said we may not hear anything depending on how it is positioned. But as soon as she put it on my tummy we heard the heatbeating loud and strong and fast. The best sound in the world to us right now. We couldn't help but be amazed by it and had big smiles after that.

15 weeks 4 days I may have felt the baby move. But I'm not sure. I was sitting at my desk and felt some little tiny taps in my belly. I really hope that was the baby because I am grinning as if it were. I'm so excited. It's alive!
