Wow, you fight sleep. You have given us so much trouble on the 4 trips of the last two monthes. So, ok, you are not the good traveler your sibs were. And I am having so much trouble with you sleeping. You fight hard. You refuse your pacifier, constantly try and roll over and lift your head. Twisitng every which way. You just don't want to miss a thing! I think I have spoiled you rotten. It was just easier to work with you instead of training you and now we are reaping the tough work of fighting you until you can be trained. And trained you shall be. They say that 3 days is a good estimation for building/breaking a habit in a baby. We'll see.

4 Month Check-up posted on 01/30/2008
Today you had your 4 month check-up. It went great. My chunky little monkey weighs almost 18 pounds. It took your brother and sister at least 10 months to get that big! Time to put away most of your 3-6 month clothes and pull out the next size! Dr. David says everything looks great. I started cereal last week because you quit sleeping through the night and it seemed to help at first, but now you are waking up again. Dr. David says you are getting enough calories w/o the cereal. So I guess we will have to work with you on putting yourself back to sleep when you wake up in the night. And we will wait on the cereal for a while. You love to stand up. You are reaching for things and seem to be teething. You love to gnaw on my finger and are drooling like crazy. It seems to have you pretty frustrated. You growl and gnaw at my shoulders when I'm holding you. You laugh plenty and are very ticklish.

2 Month Check-up posted on 11/27/2007
I had my two month check-up today. It went great. I smiled and wiggled and let Dr. David do his thing. I also got my immunizations. I was sound asleep, woke up to scream, and then went right back to sleep! Dr. says everything looks excellent, definitely very pudgy!

1 mth check-up posted on 10/23/2007
I had my 1 mth check-up with the doctor today. I did great. Measuring just fine. My eyes are still a little yellow, but my skin looks just fine so the dr. said nothing to worry about. It was pretty funny. The nurse took a rectal temp and I squirted poop all around the thermometer. It startled Mommy and the nurse. The nurse made some pretty funny faces! Then I sprayed pee all over until Mommy clapped her hand over me. Quick reflexes, Mommy, but next time grab something more absorbent! I was wide awake for my whole check-up and didn't cry. I was very good for the dr. and I even had hiccups that wouldn't go away. I go back to see him again in one month.
