Well today was Jace's one month appointment. He's one month old today. He's sooooo big. He is 21 1/2 inches long and he weights 9lbs. He eats about 4oz every 2 hrs. now. He's sleeping alot better too, he'll wake up eat and the go back to sleep. And he's liking his baths alot more, we put him in his tub on the bathroom sink and he looks at hisself in the mirror and I think it keeps him content, he'll laugh at himself in the mirror too...it's sooo cute. He's already holding hisself up really good and trying to scoot across the floor. He's talking a whole lot of gibberish too, but i swear sometimes we can understand him lol. Well his next appt. is Nov. 6 and thats when we'll do his vaccinations...yaaa he's gonna love that check up. Well that's about all for now but I'll update soon.

Well Jace is finally here!!! We're so excited and can't wait to do every lil thing with him. He was born on September 5, at 9:25pm. I had gone to work that Tuesday morning and tuesday was gonna be my last day because I was scheduled for induction for Wednesday, but anyways I started having what I thought was just backaches at 11:00 so i started timing them and they were coming about every 20min. Then I went on my lunch break and they were 10min apart. So around 3:00 I called my doctor and they said go to labor and delivery, so I did. I got there at about 4:15 or so and when I got in the contractions were still about 10min apart and i was 4cm and 75% effaced. An hour later I had gone to 7cm and fully effaced so they went ahead and broke my water, after that the contractions were like a min or two apart and they told me around 9:00 to start pushing, and we had Jace at about 9:25. It didnt' take tooo long...or as long as I thought it would be but everyone was incredibly helpful, Heber was great he took care of me and helped me so much through the whole thing, the plan was to go all natural and I accomplished that goal with his help. My family was helpful also they had to bring all of our stuff to the hospital and were there waiting patiently until everything was over.
Unfortunently, even though labor went really well, Jace had come out rather quickly like all in one push so they weren't able to get all the amniotic fluid out, so he was breathing really fast and we had to stay in the hospital until he was better. He had to keep his reps below 60 in order to go home. He was doing like 80 - 100 at some points which isn't very good at all, he was hooked up to an iv and all kinds of stuff, it was sooooo sad...but last night since his reps had been below 60 consistently they took him off the iv and let him stay in the room with us for 24 hrs and if he did good we could go home..Well he did excellent so now we're here and we're so grateful for our wonderful son and the love and support from all our family and friends.
