TRUTH HURTS...

So I'm reading about my child's development, etc during lunch and this is what the website has advice for today:

"Each new stage of his development takes him another step farther away from you."

What? My day is now ruined, and I'm so sad thinking about my baby boy's looming birthday. Unbelievable how fast a year goes by. I've been so fortunate with my flexible schedule and plentiful maternity leave to have had so much time with him this year and not miss any "firsts". But stay at home or not, there is never enough time with that precious angel when he is growing so fast.

So I sent that stupid quote to a mommy friend, and her advice for today is:

STOP READING THAT. IT'S NOT TRUE.

SO NOT TRUE...The boy is closer to his Mommy everyday. Yeah, he is a Momma's Boy and I do NOT care! LOVE HIM SO MUCH.

I still stand by what I said yesterday, though I can't quite believe you decided to post that. I can tell you 100% that it's not true.
