WALKING!!!!

Raleigh started walking on tuesday! We are so excited. He was holding on to Daddy's recliner and I was picking toys up. I turned around to find him walking into the kitchen. Everysince then he is GOING! He loves to walk although sometimes he gets to excited and tries running. Walking's just not good enough. He is now trying to stand from a sitting position. I don't how easy this will be but he tries all day.
We sent out Christmas cards yesterday and hope everyone enjoys them. Raleigh was quite a trooper during his "photo shoot" but I think that was because he was being bribed with cookies. I love taking my own original pictures every year. I look forward to doing it many more times. ( I have so many ideas!)
Raleigh goes back to the doctor on 12-12-07 for his flu shot booster. He is taking medicine right now to knock out his cold. Hopefully he can stop once we go back. Side effects are dizzyness and blurred vision but seeing as how he's walking I think he's okay!

Well Raleigh has started to take a few steps. FINALLY!! He walks to Daddy as long as Daddy has cookie. He is starting to really talk. He repeats almost everything. He says Kitty every time he sees one then goes and lays his head on them. I think he's snuggling. Shai gets it the worst but she's a good sport. He says Shai Shai over and over. He shares his food with her though so she's okay.
We are getting ready for halloween. Raleigh is going to be a turtle. The turtle Squirt from finding nemo. I just thought it was too cute to have a turtle named squirt. (Roy's childhood nickname from his sister's) He just can't quite say Trick or Treat yet.
I am also uploading new fall pictures of him in his pumpkin. We always call him pumpkin!! He had a good time inside it, he liked licking in eating it.

I just wanted to thank everyone who came to Raleigh's birthday party. It was the biggest day of his life so far and thank you for sharing in it. He may not remember it but I will and I appreciate it.
He had a wonderful time and was on his best behavior. He did great while opening the presents and eating the cake. He even enjoyed the games. (the duck one more, of course) He got lot's of great presents that he already loves. Some are louder than others and that's of course what he likes the most. :)
He didn't sleep well that night. I don't know if it was from the excitement or the sugar but he was up all night. He has always been a good sleeper so that was hard. He is cutting more teeth also but teething has never been that bad. (BTW- he had 6 teeth on his b-day). I guess it was both but I am just glad it's behind us and I don't have to do it again for a while. Thanks again for coming!!

I just put some pictures of Raleigh & Daddy outside. They were going for a four wheeler ride. Last time Raleigh fell asleep. They both love it!
Raleigh has two new teeth and two coming in. He's also going to get his pictures taken Sunday. Hopefully we will have them back in time for his party to give out!

Raleigh went to the doctor yesterday and weighed in at 22 pounds and 1 ounce. He was 28 1/2 inches long. The nurse told us how great it was that Raleigh had never had a sick visit. We told her he had been having trouble with his stomach still and last week he started pulling on his ear. After the doctor checked him out he sure enough has a ear infection. Also, because he is still having problems using the bath room the doc prescribed something to help. So my son who never had to be on medicine is now on two. He only had to get one shot this time. Thank God!
Raleigh also had a big day yesterday because he got to meet his new cousin. Her name is Sarah Grace Eure. She is adorable and Sallie and Andy are so excited. We have a few cute pictures of her & Raleigh, I will try to upload them doon. He's a giant compared to her. That's a total of 4 babies, (Raleigh, Dalton, Griffin, & Sarah) in 10 months.
