Food!

Raleigh has been eating homemade baby food lately. He really likes the applesauce and banana-strawberry. We have also been working on learning to chew so he has had chunks of plums, peaches, banana, grapes, kiwi, & oranges. He really likes all of them. The only thing he still won't eat is meat. No meat we have tried so far he likes. He did eat some french fries the other day and he liked those but when I tried to slip in some chicken he spit it right back out.
Raleigh pulled up for the first time all by himself on Saturday. (July 28th) He then walked down the couch while holding on. Now that he's figured it out that's all he wants to do.

Raleigh's first birthday this year is October 13th. That is a Saturday and that is the date we are doing the party. Invites will follow in September. People are already asking what he wants or needs. Well honestly he needs nothing but Roy and I have discussed it and you can give to his college fund or buy whatever you want. We have put together two wishlists for ideas also. One at Target and one at Walmart. These are just ideas for anyone who wants them. Some of these we will buy also. These are just things I have seen and wanted to buy for him. Whatever he doesn't get can roll over to Christmas. There are 12 things at walmart and 14 at Target. Not a big list just some things I now he will end up with and will love.
Raleigh's next doctor's appt. is on Thursday of next week and hopefully everything will check out okay. He is having stomach problems again and I just pray that his DR. doesn't make us go for x-rays. That was suggested last visit if things didn't get better. It is causing him lots of pain and trouble sleeping. Will give you a update soon as possible. Thanks to everyone who cares for him and loves him!

I have uploaded a few new pics of Raleigh. His first boat ride and him swimming in the lake with his turtle float. He really likes the water and had a great time. He actually slept through most of the boat ride!
Also there is a picture of Roy & Raleigh at Rockingham. It was taken after Roy got out of the car and Raleigh had just woken up!
There is also a new poll up so vote away!!

Next weekend is the fireworks and we are so excited. Raleigh gets to watch his first fireworks show, it's the biggest around and mommy & daddy are in charge of them. I remember going to them every year when I was little too!
We got a chance to get and meet Bailey Baker. (lee & ashley's baby) He is adorable and looks just like them. Raleigh just stared at him for a while like "well can I play with him or not?" Not much longer and he will be able too.
We also went to Rockingham this weekend and Roy got to race cars. He had a blast. Already ready to do it again. Raleigh was there and he slept the whole time. Next time I think we should go with more people so they can race each other. He passed a few people and did a great job. They said he hit all his marks.

I hope that everyone enjoyed Roy's party! He was very happy and had a great time. It was nice to see everyone.
As you all know I gave Roy the Nascar driving experience for his birthday and we are doing that this weekend at Rockingham. We are going down Friday. Everyone is welcome to come. Raleigh and I get to go and watch and video tape the whole thing. It's going to be a lot of fun!
Lee & Ashley also had their son Bailey Christopher Baker on June 16th at 1:17 pm. 7 lbs. & 2 ozs. 20 1/2" long. We are stopping by there on our way! Can't wait to meet the new one!!

I have also just added the pictures from this weekend. One of the five grandsons, one of Raleigh & Skylar and a few of just Raleigh outside. I love the one of him smiling. He was looking at Aunt Georgia!
