Raleigh started his stage 2 foods this weekend.  It has more taste choices and it is bigger servings.  He still isn't eating alot but he's eating.  He also started formula and it has been kinda rough.  He likes the taste of the Nestle Good Start Supreme with DHA & ARA over the others we've tried but the formula is making his tummy hurt.  He's having a hard time adjusting.

He is a rolling over machine. He goes from tummy to back and back to tummy. He is also "scooting" instead of crawling but it's amazing how fast he can move.  He loves to play patty cake and he loves putting a blanket over his face and snatching it off.  Everytime we say where's Raligh? and he laughs and yanks it down.  So I guess that counts as peek a boo. 

He is growing so fast.  It's hard to believe that next week he will be 7 months old. I hope we get to see everyone soon.  

Raleigh did very well at his doctor's appt.  He got one shot and one oral vaccine.  He was 18 lbs. 13 oz. and 26 1/2" long.  He also went and got his spring pictures taken.  He did very well there too.  Smiling all the time.  Today has been kind of bad b/c Raleigh is sore but I think by tomorrow he will be better. 

Once we finish his Stage 1 foods we are on to stage 2.  However I don't know why anyone would want apples & chicken flavor or country breakfast.  I will not be trying those!!   He gets to try apple juice in a sippy cup, teething biscuits, and those airy fruit puffs.  His next appt. is not for 3 more months but I did learn that from here till he's two he will get shots everytime.  Someone should have warned me.

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Today Raleigh tried sweet potatoes for the first time.  He really liked the taste.  He didn't make a bad face this time.  We are still working on swallowing but we will get there.

Raleigh gives five now.  I guess that means we are on our way to patty-cake.  Every time you hold up your hand and say Raleigh give me five he does.  Adorable!

I just uploaded two new pics.  They are adorable, I hope everyone enjoys them.  There is also a new poll up, please vote for Raleigh's hair color.  When he gets hair that is.  Thanks for voting on the other one.  I am pretty sure that Roy sits at work and votes for himself over and over. Oh well I win anyway b/c he already says ma-ma-ma! :)

Raleigh is doing great!  Other than we are done trying foods for a while.  His little stomach just couldn't take it.  Every time he ate he would be up all night crying.  Plus it's not like he's hurting for food so we will wait and try them again later.  He has finally slowed down on eating as much as he has been.  So hopefully his clothes will last a little bit longer. 

He spent all day saturday with Aunt Sallie and I was so glad to have him back.  I still can't go very long without him.  I just miss him so much when he's gone.  I know he enjoying spending time with Aunt Sallie though. 

I have just added a picture of Raleigh and his 3 cousins, Dylan, Gavin, & Dalton. (or Dalby as Gavin would say)  We all went to see the new baby this past weekend and he is adorable.  However I am pretty sure that everyone is lying when they said Raleigh was once that size because I don't think he was.  Actually Roy and I agree that it's impossible.  Seeing a new baby and spending all my time with my wonderful son makes me so ready to have another one.  I told Roy I don't care what size the house is now just build it already.  I think our second would be a boy too!
