Raleigh ate rice cereal on Monday & Tuesday.  He drink it down and then was out like a light.  I like rice cereal too :)  He ate Bananas on Wednesday & Thursday and he hated them and he got gas and screamed for 2 days.  So the bananas are gone and we just tried applesauce.  He will actually eat it.  He wouldn't eat the bananas of the spoon but he likes apples.  Can't wait to try new foods.  I hope he likes them.  Roy tried some and he said it was gross.  I'm sure it is so I'll take his word for it!!

Raleigh went to the doctor yesterday and he weighs 15.12 lbs.  Yes he has gained over 6 pounds.  I told you he was fat.  He was 24 3/4 in length.  He did have to get shots and he did really well until about 4 hours later.  He was so sad.  He still has a tempature right now.  I never want to go back to the doctor's.  I tried to tell Roy that it's not against the law for him to not get the shots.  I know it hurts him but it hurts me too.  I cried and cried over it last night.

I know you probably don't believe it but he says "momma".  He has done it about 5 times.  I know he doesn't realize the meaning but he says it and that's good enough for me. 

We are starting rice cereal next week and then from there stage 1 foods.  The doctor said we could also try yogurt if we wanted to.  I know he can't eat alot but I'm sure Roy will help him out!

We are going to Raleigh this weekend to buy the kid some clothes that fit.  He is in 6 months clothes already, we are going to gymboree to get cute turtle crossing clothes.  They are adorable.  He has so many turtle & fire dept. things but I love them!

Raleigh spent most of the day with his Aunt Beth, Aunt Sallie, and Aunt Helen.  It was good for him to spend time bonding with all of them.  Specially Aunt Helen b/c next time we see her she will have a new baby!  Raleigh really enjoyed it and also spending time with his cousins!  Thank you to all who watched him while Roy and I went four wheeling!

Thanks to Aunt Sallie for the cute Elfmo!  Also for his cute fire fighter onesies.  He needs clothes bigger than 6 months so thank you.  Plus they are so cute. 

Okay so I am adding new pics of Raleigh.  I love the bear hat from Chris & Lauren.  I also really like the bebe pod picture, he is sitting up so good and then the one of him staring so funny.  He looks alot like me there. :)

Raleigh stayed with his Grandmama & Granddaddy last night for Grandaddy's birthday.  (just till 9:30)  When we went to pick him up he was smiling and so happy, then when we tried to leave he cried.  So he is now never leaving me again. :(  No, I'm just kidding but it's still not getting any easier to leave him!

I just wanted to let everyone know that Raleigh, Roy, and I will be in the LKG Gazette this week.  (W/ the Fire Dept.) It was for the pancake breakfast and they told him to stay in as "the youngest fireman".  Sweet!

Can't wait to see everyone this weekend for all the b-day celebrations! Unless Helen has her baby GIRL before then!  :) 

I called the Doctor today to see if Raleigh really needed to come in for his weight check-up b/c he's a fattie.  The receptionist said that they had already cancelled his appt.  Great I guess except they could have called!  That's not the 1st time they've done something like that.  Oh well, it saved me a trip!

Today Raleigh pushed himself up and sat straight up for about 10 seconds.  It felt like forever.  Daddy wasn't home to see it but I think he will do it again.  He keeps trying so hard.  He's amazing!
