| We went to the church where Sam will be attending the Mom's Morning Out Program in a few weeks and the church secretary gave Sam his first jelly bean. He LOVED it. I was a tad freaked out because I thought it was a choking hazard, but he managed to chew it up and loved the taste!

| He saw the remote control on the chair and climbed up to get it. He knows the remote turns on the TV and will bring it to us when he wants to watch cartoons. I try so hard to not let him watch more than an hour of cartoons each day, so I am constantly hiding the remote control from him.

| Sean and I were sitting in the family room and both of us were able to see Sam take his first THREE steps on his own. I started acting crazy, so Sam knew he did something that made me super happy. He got back up and did it over again! Sean and I were so happy and we were making over him like crazy. I grabbed the video camera and he wouldn't do it again for me. The little stinker

| Sam loved riding in Will's wagon today. We are borrowing it to decide if it is something Sam would enjoy. Well, he loved it when I walked up and down the street with him in it. He loved looking around and watching everyone.

| Sam loves this show even though it is too old for him. For some reason this is the only show that catches his attention, and I cave and let him watch it each day. I always said I would never let Sam watch tv until he was older, but it allows me 30 minutes in the mornings to take care of Jack and Oliver and to get ready for the day. Excuses, excuses...I know

| Mercy and I were playing with Sam today and he knocked over a tower of cups. He saw our reaction of us clapping so he started to clap himself. He was so proud of himself and kept clapping over and over - and would let out a loud and gleeful sound. It was SO SWEET! He has been doing it all day and even Sean got a kick out of it.

| I bake them in the oven, whip them up in the food processor and he goes to town on them! I mix the carrots and peas in the sweet potatoes so he will eat them. He definitely has a sweet tooth like his Papa
