Lily is turning 2!!!!

She has a sweet disposition and is talking all the time...she reminds me of Isaiah at this age....they both narrate everything they are doing...She loves Elmo and babies...her best little friend is Kjersten and she is so happy when she comes over to play...she has recently started to dress the dog with necklaces...I think the dog is going to be in for a lot of dress up in the years to come...we are reminded of God's power and grace to us as we celebrate Lily's birthday each year...she is a blessing...

Well with the new addition to our family also came a little gift from the great Midwest...Isaiah Lily and Mom all came down with a bad cold that turned out to be pnuemonia.  The whole time we lived in Cali we were fairly healthy except for the week Lily and Mom went to visit family in WI we came home with bad colds.  Go figure.  Luckily Josiah is on dog duty much to his dismay sometimes he proving himself responsible.

Lily is exploring her sounds.  Recently she saw herself in the mirror and pointed and said "ily".  It's so cute to hear a little voice trying to make sounds.  She has also mastered "bye" and is getting very familiar with her face parts.  She can point to her nose and eyes when you ask her where they are.  Currently we're working on mouth and tummy.  She continues to amuse and delight the whole family.

Lily is one year old today!!!  Last year at this time we had no idea how things would go.  We are thankful she is a happy, healthy little girl and that we are all here to celebrate her first year.

She had fun at her party on Sat. being very social and sweet to all of her guests.  Her favorite things of the day were being pushed in the swing and playing tea party with Uncle Matt (Stephanie's brother).

Each day is a gift from the Lord and we are reminded of that today.
