Spending Time with my Friends!!! posted on 11/15/2009
Hi everybody!
I thought I should finally sit down and right to you all. I've had such a great weekend. Beginning on Friday, after dinner, I went to play with my friend Maya, who lives down the street. She is such a nice quietly girl. I think she calms me down and I make her be a little rambunctious. Together, we play so well together. We share really well, laugh and just have fun. We never really argue. Maya and I have been playing together at least once a week. Sometimes, I go to her house and other times she comes to my house!!!
I spent all of Saturday with my mommy. We had a nice time together because I behaved really well. In the morning, we went to visit Zaidie. We brought him some Toblerone chocolate, which he enjoyed. From there, we went to visit Bubby. She was happy that we came over. We ate lunch together and played.
From Bubby's, we went for a walk in the stroller, which was nice. The weather was beautiful!!! Then we did some more errands and eventually got home at around 4:30. We saw Riley and her mom outside so we made dinner plans. We got to go to their house to eat dinner and play. Her mommy made me spaghetti and we had a cupcake for dessert. I played so well with Riley!!
Sunday was another fun and busy day. We got up in the morning and went to Orli's house for breakfast. Her mommy made us yummy eggs. We played quite well together. From there, we ran some errands and came home to rest before Emily came over. When she came over, we played with my toys and then had dinner. Our families ordered pizza and had o nice evening together. Mommy helped us play baseball!!!
Well, I better go because my parents think I am in bed sleeping. I don`t want to get caught.
Nighty night!!! Layla Tov!

The Past Couple Weeks posted on 11/01/2009
Jordana has been very enjoyable and sweet lately. She seems caring about our feelings and comforts us if we're sad. She enjoys helping and of course baking! I wonder whose sweet tooth she inherited. She hasn 't been eating very good dinners, only wanting applesauce and yogurt -at least they are healthy choices.
Last weekend, we went to Buffalo on Sunday and slept over in Niagara Falls. It took about 2 1/2hrs. to get back across the border;luckily Jordana was very patient sitting in her car seat. We stayed at the Hilton Fallsview in a 2 bedroom King suite - it was nice. She slept well in her bed. The following day we went swimming and walked around. She had a great time in the pool.
Last night, our friend Jacob came over to go trick or treating. They were so cute together. Jordana is very possesive of her bag of junk. We've told her that she can only have one treat a day.
She also had her 2 year portrait pictures done yesterday, which went well. Once she got on the horsey, she was happy! She was excited to pick them up today.
We are going to look into getting the H1N1 shot for her - I hope her Dr.s office will have it.
That's all for now!

My 2nd Birthday! posted on 10/06/2009
Wow, the celebrations started on the weekend with a birthday party on Sunday. We went to the Langstaff Community Centre and had a party room in which we ate and a gym to play in. The food, pasta and Elmo cake were so yummy. Mommy worked hard at making me the Elmo cake and cupcakes. It was so fun to play with my friends and see my grandparents and some cousins.
After the party, we went home to open my presents! It was so exciting ripping paper off the boxes and some were so big. I got a lot of cute clothes and some interesting toys. Uncle David got me a toy laptop, cousin Michelle, Frank and Paula gave me a baby grand piano - it is so neat! I got several other toys that will definitely keep me busy!
Today was my real birthday, I am officially two!!! We celebrated at daycare with more Elmo cupcakes, so I got more red icing on my clothes. Waheeda also gave me a cute outfit to wear!!! Mommy picked me up and took me to gymnastics, where everybody sang to me. Boy I felt special.
When I got home, we ate dinner, I opened my present from mommy and daddy and even ate Baskin Robins ice cream cake!! MMMMM gooood!
Overall, I had a very special 2nd birthday. I heard that I am going for my checkup in a couple of days, yikes.
Nighty night!

Jordana is almost 2! posted on 09/23/2009
Jordana seems to be in better moods lately. She loves her new bed and goes to sleep in it easily, after a couple of stories. Every time we go upstairs she runs and screams, "My new bed!!!
The evenings have been more enjoyable as she is playful and talkative. The hitting, biting and kicking has pretty much diminished. YAY! Conversations are interesting, funny and sometimes a bit lengthy! If only she'd learn how to speak in a normal volume and not yell!
Jordana participate more fully in her gymnastic class. Today she did a lot of the warm up and didn't really run off from the activities.
We can't believe that she will be 2 in 2 weeks!! Can't wait to hear what the Dr. will say at her checkup.

A Special Wednesday! posted on 09/17/2009
Yesterday was a special day for Jordana. Uncle David took her to gymnastics and they had a great time. The staff told him to come all of the time because she was such a different child with him being there!!!
Upon their return home, we ate dinner and Jordana's big girl bed got delivered, so we all went up to put it together after dinner.
Bed time was a little difficult. We started to try to get to bed at 8:45 and the freaking out began. Somehow she eventually came in the bed with me and calmed down. I pretended to sleep and rub her back, sing etc. and by 9:45 I left her room. Haven't heard from her all night. This was the same freaking out as when we were up north. Perhaps a few nights of this and then peace!!!

WOW! posted on 09/14/2009
This past weekend was quite fun. Bubbie and Zady came for dinner on Friday night and then Emily came over to play. We played with my toys and then went to my room to play with my choo-choo train. We even pretended to sleep in my crib.
We went shopping for a big girl bed for me on Saturday. I love mattress shopping because I get to jump on so many different beds. I wonder if I will be allowed to jump on my big girl bed. From there, we went to eat lunch at Donald's and then I was dropped off at Bubbie's so mommy and daddy could go to the gym. When mommy picked me up, we went to Wal Mart adn bought me some sheets and a comforter. It is so nice, I am excited to put it on my new bed. Mommy says I am not allowed to get out of my bed unless her or daddy come get me. I hope I will listen to her!
Sunday was busy. I went to Sarah's first birthday party. We got to make music with shakers and drums. Of course I got to eat yummy fruit. From there I went to Shul with mommy and bubbie to meet the new rabbi and have brunch. It was so good.
We then drove home to get daddy and went to Tottenham to ride on a real choo-choo. The ride was one hour and was fun!

Some Fun Times! posted on 09/07/2009
I have been quite busy over the past few days. Let's start with last Thursday, which was a beautiful sunny day. I got to spend the whole day with my daddy, since my mommy was getting ready to go back to work. We went up north to Beavertaon. We went Go Karting again and went to the beach. I had so much fun playing in the sand with some kids I had met and lucky for me they had a little trampoline to put in the water. I got to jump on it so many times!!! We ate dinner up north and didn't get home till about 9:30.
Friday was also a busy fun day. I went to daycare till around 3:00 and then got picked up to go to Canada's Wonderland for my first time!!! WOW, what an interesting place. I saw lots of people, rides, toys and food. We played in Splashworks where I ran through the splash pad, went down little water slides and played in a pool. It was so refreshing. We had a great surprise there. Jacob came too!! We got to eat dinner together and then go on rides. We went on the helicopter ride, Dora cars and some others. I can't wait to go there again.
Mommy went to get her hair done on Saturday, so I went to Bubbie's!!! She took me to Steeles Deli for dinner and was proud of me for eating so well. People kept complimenting on my good behaviour!!!! YAY! I slept at Bubbie's and went to see Zaidy in the morning. I think I made Bubbie tired. My parents picked me up by mid afternoon and then we went to Centennial Park. By the time I got home that evening (8ish), I went straight to bed!
Today is Labour Day and mommy is going back to work tomorrow. Poor her, but at least she doesn't have almost 40 kids. I guess I will have to adjust to not seeing her so much. I am starting my gymnastics classes again, this Wednesday and I think swimming will start soon too.
See ya!

A Little Trip up North! posted on 08/23/2009
I missed daycare for the past week since we took a little holiday up north, to a place called Blue Mountain – boy was it ever fun!!! We stayed in a nice house with lots of stairs and big beds that I could jump on. Guess what? I slept in a queen size bed for my first time; time to get me a big bed at home!
The house was right across the street from the Village at Blue Mountain. We were lucky that the weather was pretty nice so we could swim (we did miss a tornado, thank goodness). We swam in a pool in the Village. I am finally starting to kick my legs in the water when I am on my tummy. I got to play in an arcade, on the playground and even watch a movie under the stars!! It was so much fun. One day, I painted a plate at a pottery place and put my hand print on it – mommy, daddy and the lady working thought I was very good at painting. When it’s ready, I will post a picture of it for you to see.
Another fun thing I did was go Go Karting with daddy. Wow, it was fun! I love “driving” cars but daddy drove for us. The helmet actually fit me so it worked out well. Another driving activity I did was sit on daddy’s lap in an empty parking lot and steer the car - now all I ever want to do is drive!!!
My vocabulary is expanding all the time – even calling mommy and daddy by their first names. Boy I shocked them when I did it the first time. I am also very repetitive and demanding. I can tell that my parents are getting frustrated with that and my temper. I can’t explain why but I freak out a lot and bite and scratch them, it really hurts them and I feel badly inside. I hope I grow out of this soon because I want them to love me SOOOO much.
Before we went away, Bubby painted my toe nails so my cute little toes would look pretty!!!
