We went to the zoo today with Myles and Marshall!  I ran around and showed Myles the whole zoo.  He's been there before though.  Miss Jess got me a popcicle too.  Yummy!  Check out the photos for all the fun.

We had dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Knapp's house tonight.  I was starting to get restless so Grandpa took me for a tour of the yard.  We met the shed, and the rooster and I picked a flower for Mommy and we went around the front of the house.  It was nice spending some time with Grandpa.  He really loves me!  Thanks Grandma for dinner, it was really yummy!!

A busy week
posted on 05/21/2009

After an uneventful week last week, this week has proved to keep us on our toes.  Here's the run down::

Monday:: Mommy had an appointment so I just hung out with Mommy and Daddy and Sister.  Ran an errand with Daddy, that was about it.

Tuesday::  We had a playdate with Miss Lisa and Alaina.  I now call her "Zisa,"  it's closer than what I was calling her before.  We played outside too.  Blew bubbles, painted, drew with sidewalk chalk, ate snacks, took a ride on the swing, rode a few bikes, played with some balls...  we always have fun over there.  After nap, Mommy got me and Sister ready to go out again.  We hit the African Road playground with a few friends from the mommy board.  We saw Aiden and his parents and Samma and Tommy and their parents.  Mommy was having some issues with Zia so Miss Natalie helped me in the swing.  I actually had more fun playing with the new stroller.

Wednesday:: this was the busiest day yet.  After breakfast Mommy packed up a bag for us and we piled into the car.  Of course, the a/c isn't working so it was a pretty miserable ride.  We had the windows open and it was really loud so I barely could hear my movie but I dealt ok.  We drove to Rochester for cousin Jacob's pre-school graduation.  We'll post a few pics later.  Mommy is sitting here bouncing Sister in her bouncy seat and as soon as she stops bouncing Zia wakes up.  She needs her sleep so Mommy is bouncing and the camera is in the bag on the other side of the room.

We met Grammie in Rochester too.  That was really cool.  Grammie hung out with me and helped me eat CAKE while Mommy hung out with Aunt Alyssa and Uncle Keith.  It was a fun ceremony and we learned a new song.  It's called Tooty Ta.  If you've never heard it before, check out youtube and search for it.  It's the funniest song ever and Mommy is going to teach it to me.

After we got back to Jacob's house I spent a lot of time playing with "Brick."  His name is Brisk and he's the biggest cat ever!!  I chased him around a lot and checked out Jakey's toys.  You should see all the hockey sticks he has.  Lucky kid!  They are all game used sticks too.  I bet a few of them could be worth money one day!

The ride home was difficult.  It took us FOUR hours to get home.  We had to stop for gas, stopped to nurse Sister, stopped to get some caffeine for Mommy.  It was a fun trip though even though we all came home exhausted .

Mother's Day trip to Buffalo
posted on 05/13/2009

We had a rough start but once we got on the road it was fun.  The wind was blowing like crazy though so Daddy had to really pay attention.  I watched a few movies and ate snacks and even took a short nap.  As soon as we got to Buffalo I ran around with Grammie and played with all the cool toys.  And, Grammie's new name is Grammie Cake.  Mommy forgot to take a picture of it though for my album.  Silly Mommy.  It was really yummy!!!

Sunday, we hung out playing and waited for Miss Beth and Jessie and Kayla to come over and meet Zia.  It was a fun visit.  I took a short nap and played hard with Grammie.  Mommy and Daddy went out on a date so I got to have Grammie and Grandpa Ron all to myself.  They are so fun.  They even let me watch a new movie.  Shrek the 3rd.  It has a princess in it and a dragon and a talking donkey.  It was fun.

Monday, I was up way too early.  Thanks Daddy for getting up with me.  After Mommy got up, I was really cranky and she couldn't deal with me anymore.  So we went upstairs and took a short nap.  Daddy took care of Sister for us so we could sleep.  Then he took a nap.  After we were all up, we went to the Niagara River so I could run around and see water.  I love watching out the car window for water and when I see it, I yell out "I SEE WATER."  It's pretty funny.  After I ran away from Mommy and almost got hit by a car (seriously, Mommy was really scared) we piled in the car and headed to Jessie's softball game.  She didn't play much, but I did.  We had some toys and I played with a new puppy and climbed a big rock and ran around with Mommy.  Jess's team (Mommy's old High School) won and she got to play for an inning.  Go Jess!!

Tuesday, it was time to go home.  I was really sad to wake up and not find Grammie and Grandpa there.  We packed up the car and hit Athena's for breakfast then we stopped in to see Great Grandpa Jacobs.  Mommy will find those pictures later.  It was fun to run around and see people and hang out with Great Grandpa.  We brought Vicky too.  Our ride home was nice.  We had to stop a few times to nurse Sister and then took a break but we eventually made it home.  We are really kind of sad to be back.  I have so much fun running around with Grammie.  We play on her outside riding toys, we draw with sidewalk chalk, I get to play with all the toys that Mommy and Uncle Keith used to play with, Grammie even has all of Mommy's old baby dolls that I can play with.  She let me take a few of them for a walk outside.  Grammie needed milk, so her and I walked down to the store to get some.  I love milk, I love Grammie and going to Buffalo is fun again.  We can't wait to go again!

Playdate with Myles and Marshall
posted on 05/06/2009

Mommy decided that since so many friends came to visit us over the last few weeks that it was time for us to get out of the house and go play somewhere else.  icon_thumright

After a hectic morning of trying to get me and my sister ready we grabbed Munchkins at Dunkin Donuts and went to visit Miss Jess, Myles and Marshall.  Mommy and I were talking about what we were going to do and I told her we were going to play in the bed.  Mommy couldn't believe that I remembered playing in bed with Myles the last time we went.  Mommy said I'm so smart and she wishes that I would keep all these memories even though she's sure I won't remember them.  icon_scratch

Myle and I did a lot of running around and jumping and screaming.  Miss Jess' house is set up so you can run a circle through the kitchen, living room, and dining room.  Mommy said it make her nauseous. icon_puke_r But it was really fun.  We bought their stroller.  I can't wait to try it out.  I'll get to sit with sister if I want to.  It's a sit and stand.  Mommy is really excited.  She gave us a great deal on it too.  It looks brand new and works great.  We can't wait to try it out soon.  toothy9

Sister was really well behaved too and they were very excited to meet her.  Don't forget to check out her site to see all her pictures and her take on our outings too.

In house playdate (again)
posted on 05/04/2009

So many of Mommy's friends are coming over to visit us so they can cuddle with Sister Zia.  Today, her friend Heather came to visit (and brought dinner--Thank you Heather!).  Her daughter Kait wasn't feeling so hot so she stayed home with her Daddy.  My big boyfriend Donovan didn't come over because he's a boy.  It's ok, we won't hold that against him.  We always love seeing Heather though.  Mommy really likes hanging out with her and loves reading her words of wisdom on the mommy board.

Also, our friend Cookie came over and she brought my friend Michelina.  We are starting to clash though.  We really have issues sharing.  But we each have really cool toys that we just love and don't want to share.  Mommy and Cookie are working on that.  Oh, and Thank you to Cookie for another dinner, a really cool book for Sister Zia and my felt poster.  I really had a lot of fun coloring it.
