Mommy is so very proud of me because we had to take Zia to the doctor's today.  I was such a great girl.  I hung out with Daddy while Mommy held onto Sister while the doctor checked her over.  I hung out and read books and looked out the window while we waited.  I got to push buttons in the elevator too.  That's the best part about going to the doctor's office.  We have to take her back on Friday too.  Mommy is hoping I'm a good girl then too.

Tonight, we gave Zia her very first bath at home.  Check out Sister's website to see our pictures. 

MOmmy and I are very sad today because Grammie left to go back home.  It was really great having her here to help keep me busy and help Mommy while she recovered from Zia's arrival. 

It'll take some time to get in the swing of things. 

For now, we are just sticking close to home and hanging out. 

I've gotten to visit with my baby sister a few times now.  Yesterday, I saw her and got some great photos.  Today, my Grandpa Ron came into town to visit with us and Grammie and I took him up to meet baby Zia.  We have so many pictures to share with everyone it's very exciting. 

Visiting the hospital is actually a lot of fun.  I met Mommy and Daddy's favorite nurse.  Her name is Stephanie and her boyfriend is a Ninja!  How cool is that?  I got to see another baby in the hallway too.  Did you know that all you have to do to get a baby is visit the hospital.  The mommy and daddy go in and get a room, like a hotel Mommy said.  I've never been to a hotel.  Then as the mommy lays in bed and the daddy sits on the couch, the nurse wheels in a bassinet and there's the new baby! 

Daddy took me down to see the nursery and there's a merry-go-round horse in there.  That's pretty neat.  There weren't any new babies in there today though.  We got to play in the waiting room with some legos and we rode the elevator a few times.  That gave Grammie and Grandpa a chance to hang out with Zia. 

Mommy and Grammie are really happy with me because I'm doing so well.  I'm sleeping nicely, playing nicely.  I gave a cool break today to Grammie because Jenna was outside playing.  I got to hang out. 

This morning we went to the park and played and I got a new baby doll at Target last night and took her to the park with me.  She rode the slide and got a boo-boo on her face.  OUCH.  She came with me to the hospital tonight and Mommy and I gave her a bath.  Her boo boo is stuck there.  Everything has a story, right? 

Mommy said tomorrow, I have to get up early and get dressed and visit the hospital early because everyone is coming home.  I get to help bring Zia home.  Mommy said it's going to be my job to watch her in the car and make sure she's ok and doesn't need anything.  I have to be the best big sister and entertain her when she gets bored too.  I'm so excited and I have a job.  I wonder the pay scale is?

When I woke up this morning, Grammie came and got me.  Mommy was still sleeping and Daddy had to work last night so they didn't even hear me wake up.  I was pretty surprised that Grammie came and got me.  I forgot all about her visiting.  We just hung out for a little bit until Mommy got up.  Then we started on breakfast and I found the strangest thing.  Sitting on my baby doll's high chair was an Easter basket with some cool toys in it.  Check out the photo pages to see what I got. 

After I got dressed up, Daddy took me over to see Grandma Patty and Skully.  I got a basket over there too.  Full of all kids of cool stuff.  The bubbles are my favorite!  I got a lot of bubbles today and plan on using them all!

Tomorrow is the day that my sister comes into the world and breathes her first breaths.  I'm really looking forward to meeting her.  Mommy said she'll update the page when she can but don't be surprised if she slacks off for a little bit.  I'll be busy with Grammie and Grandpa Ron is coming on Wednesday.  Uncle Keith is coming on Tuesday too. 

As promised, my Grammie showed up today.  I was looking for her all day long.  I couldn't believe what she brought for me.  A few new summer outfits, some bubbles and a new bunny.  Thanks Grammie!!  And as I requested, a cake.  She made it in the shape of a bunny!!  I love it and it's so yummy. 

I had so much fun with her today.  Mommy keeps talking about how she's going to stay a whole week!  What a week it's going to be.  Mommy feels bad because I really don't understand what is about to happen.  I bet I surprise everyone with how well I do.  At least that's what Mommy hopes for.  I really tired her out today to.  We were up and down the stairs playing with my kitchen and desk up there.  We played with stickers and drew some pictures with my new crayons.  We even went outside to play with bubbles and ride on my toys and collected sticks.  It was really windy outside though.  After dinner, we ran out to Joanne Fabrics so Mommy could make a wrap for my sister and then because I was such a good girl there, we stopped at the pet store.  I got to run around and checked out the fish and the birds and the lizards and watched a crazy mouse run in circles on her wheel.  She even flipped upside down.  It was sooo funny!! 

When we got home I got even more crazy!  I was running all over the place and yelling and just seriously being crazy.  For someone who didn't get a nap today, I sure was in a good mood.  Mommy and Grammie tried reading me some stories to get me to go to sleep, but I really wasn't having any of that.  So Mommy changed my diaper and off to bed I went.  I kinda whined for a few minutes but I went to sleep pretty quick. 

Happy Easter to everyone, we probably aren't doing anything.  Just going to chill out here and enjoy our last day as a only child family. 

Things have been pretty uneventful around here lately.  Mommy has had appointments this week so we've just been staying home and enteraining ourselves.  Today I decided to play with my sister's diaper.  I kept putting it on my head.  I thought it was the funniest thing ever!!

I've been having a hard time napping lately and even bed time has been a struggle but it hasn't been full of crying like our troubles in the past.  Mommy thinks my top molars might be working their way through.  You can't see them though.  My two bottom ones are mostly in!  She also thinks I might be going through a bit of a growth spurt because I'm eating EVERYTHING!!  I've turned into a little hog lately.  I've been really good about trying new things too.  Mommy is proud of me.

Tomorrow my Grammie is coming to town to hang out with me.  I'm really looking forward to it.  We are going to make a cake!  It's all I can talk about.  I'm so silly.  Mommy is trying to prepare me for when she goes to the hospital to pick up my sister.  She's really worried about me even though she knows I'll be in good hands and will be a rock star but she still worries.  It'll be a crazy week next week so we are hoping to lay low this weekend and enjoy ourselves. 

Mommy said she's sorry we haven't had very many good photos lately.  With the death of our good camera, Mommy just isn't taking very many photos.  She's sad about that. 

Monday, we went to our friend Lisa's again to play with Alaina.  I just love going there.  She has so many cool toys to play with.  I was really surprised to get out of the car and have Mommy tell me to "look up there" and she pointed to the sky.  Over on top of a house was DADDY!!  The boys were doing a roof for one of Miss Lisa's neighbors.  It's pretty scary to see Daddy up there though.  Mommy doesn't like it but she's in denial about it. 

Today, we had breakfast and headed out the door to the mall.  We met up with Mommy's friend Cookie and my friend Michelina.  Michelina tried sooooooo hard to get me to see the Easter Bunny again but I wasn't having it.  I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw him.  Afraid of Mommy making me sit on his lap again.  Mommy assured me that I didn't have to.  I told them I was "cared" and Mommy said she's cool with that.  Hopefully next year I'll be more brave.  We did some walking and shopping and ran around a few stores with my baby stroller and baby.  Later tonight I seemed to spend most of the night on the phone.  I talked to my Grandpa Ron, Miss Beth and Jessica.  I had to make sure that Grammie is going to make me a cake.  Mommy keeps shaking her head on that one.  When she asked me what Grammie should bring for her visit next week I said "cake."  And I won't forget it.  I'm so silly.  I love to cook though.  Mommy said I'm really good at it too. 

The next few days aren't going to be very exciting because Mommy has appointments every day the rest of the week but she said we'll figure something out. 

Mommy is seriously counting down the days until my sister gets here.  I really like playing with her bed and swing.  Mommy is worried I'm not going to share.

Mommy is really sorry we are behind on updates.  It's been a crazy week and Mommy just never got around to it. 

Let's see::  Monday, we went to our friend's house so I could play with Myles and baby Marshall.   We were there for a long time playing and being crazy.  I ended up taking a nap that was over 3 hours long and Mommy even had to wake me up.  I was so cranky that night too!!

Tuesday, we went to our friend's house so I could play with Alaina.  She has a lot of Elmos!!  We played hard most of the day!!

Wednesday, Mommy had a doctor's appt and after she got home we packed up and ran to the mall and Wegman's real quick. Not that exciting but it was an outing non-the-less.

Thursday,  we got up and went to our friend's house so I could play with Braedon and Patrick!!  You should have heard how crazy we all were!!  We did a lot of yelling and head donking.  Miss Melissa said we all have to be careful because our heads are so big if we continue bonking them it'll cause the next "Big Bang"  We had to rush home after that and get Daddy up and head to the hospital.  We got to see my baby sister on the tv screen.  Mommy had an ultrasound to estimate Zia's weight.  Check out her website here to get the updates and pictures.  I didn't get a nap that day so I was pretty hopped up but Mommy was really proud of me.  We ended up having ice cream for dinner (My Favorite) and even had to make an emergency phone call to my Aunt Kelly because I fell and hit my head really hard.  Mommy and Daddy were scared because of what happened with Natasha Richardson.  Aunt Kelly really eased our worries and I seem to be ok even a few days later. 

That's about it for our busy week.  Mommy said after the weekend we hope to have another busy week next week to keep me busy and keep Mommy's imagination from running around until my sister gets here on the 13th.  I'm also really really looking forward to seeing my Grammie.  She'll be here next weekend to take care of me while Mommy and Daddy are away getting my sister.
