Sonyea Dolittle

Who is that darling little dish?
Over there with that big fish?
That’s Sonyea, who is two you know,
And the fishy guy’s of course, Nemo,

Our little Miss Dolittle has no fear
Of snakes or lions or even bears!
She adores all animals big and small
Though it’s Vicky she loves most of all

A great big fan of Tinkerbell,
She loves that fairy and thinks she’s swell.
She often sits to read that tale,
Though she tries to speak it all in “whale”

A quirky girl, but a real cutie
Shining with a sunny beauty,
That warms the hearts of all she meets,
Her sassy smile a real treat.

Happy Birthday little girl,
You’ve turned our lives into a whirl,
But we’re so happy you are here,
We love you more each passing year.

We had to run up to Sears today to pick up our pictures so Mommy decided that after breakfast we were going to run out.  They were very busy because of school being out but we were as patient as one 2 year old can be.  Surprisingly when we were finally out of there, I was really good about listening as we walked around the mall.  We ran into Cookie and Michelina!!  My Nina was very jealous that I got to run around without the stroller.  Mommy said as long as I continue to be a good girl and listen I don't have to be confined.  Plus, she said it helps me nap better.  We ran down to CVS to pick up some more gummies (vitamins) and a lady in line asked how old I am.  When Mommy told her my birthday is tomorrow, she was very impressed with how well behaved I was being.  I was listening and standing patiently in line.  Mommy said this is very unusual for me... even though it's really not.  Most of the time I'm a very good girl!!  We stopped to have the oil changed in the car since we are traveling to Philly on Saturday and Mommy said because I have so much patience today that we would stop for lunch.  We had Burger King and I was just as good there!!  We came home to find Daddy cleaning the kitchen.  What a great Daddy I have!! 

So many of Mommy's and my friend's have February Birthday's.  My favorite Andrew has a birthday today.  He's 2 today also.  We are going to his party this weekend in Philadelphia so look for those pictures after we get back next week.  Mommy can't wait! 

Hunter Mathew Serfass turned the big 0-1 on Sunday!!!  We were invited to his party.  It was a lot of fun.  It was a Pooh theme and everyone had a good time.  We played with his toys and sang Happy Birthday, ate cake and ice cream and I got a really cool gift bag.  He's full of smiles on his birthday.  Mommy is really mad at herself because she forgot the camera.  I got to play with Hunter's twin cousins who are just a few weeks older than me.  Afterwards we went out to Applebee's for our Valentine's dinner.  We tried to go to Olive Garden but it was just way too busy for us to hang out. 

We went to our friend Lynn's house to play for Valentine's Day.  I was pretty shy when I first got there but I warmed up pretty quick.  I did a lot of running around in circles and had a tea party with Kait and Donovan.  Donovan kept me entertained for awhile and Mommy got our antics on video.  Check the video here.   I also did an art project.  I painted a small wooden heart red and pink. 

We all exchanged Valentine's.  I got an Elmo one from Alaina and a Spiderman one from Ty.  The others were really cute too.  I gave out Tinkerbell Valentines.  It was great fun and even Mommy had a lot of fun!!  Thanks Lynn for inviting us over. 

Mommy decided that after cleaning up 3 accidents in 5 minutes today that I'm not ready for potty training.  I sat on the potty and didn't go but then as soon as I got up I went.  Did that a few times and then Mommy said that's enough.  We'll stick to diapers awhile longer.  My diaper rash is almost gone though.  YAY! 

Mommy decided last night that since I went without a diaper for 30 minutes without an accident that we were going to start training this afternoon.  After my long nap (since I was up at 5:30am again today, Mommy was NOT HAPPY) I ditched the diaper and went naked.  I went on the potty a bunch of times!!!    I asked to sit there a few times and didn't go, but at least I know when I kinda have to.  I was diaper-less for about 4 hours and only had ONE accident.   We were sitting at the dinner table eating and I said "uh oh" and looked down and there was some pee on the chair and the floor.  Mommy said it was ok and got it cleaned up and then I asked to go on the potty again.  So Mommy helped me up on the toilet and I peed again!!!  Mommy said that is impressive.    I peed and then stopped, held it until I sat on the potty again and then finished.  Mommy couldn't be any more proud of me!!     She bought more M&Ms and gives me one every time I use the potty.  That's my favorite part.  Mommy is really loud when she does the "peepee song" and I have to cover my ears sometimes.    But she's a great cheerleader!  Mommy said we go at it again tomorrow!! 

While playing a nice game of peek-a-boo with Mommy this morning I made Mommy wonder for a second.  I threw the blanket over her head and instead of saying "mommmmmmy"  I said "Rrrhhoonnnddaaa".  Mommy whipped it off her head and said "what did you say?"  I just ignored her and kept going about my business.  Mommy is still wondering where I picked that up and hope it doesn't become a habit.
