Myles and Marshall

We went to visit Mommy's friend Jess today.  I've played with Myles before.  He's pretty cool.  Has some really neat toys too.  My favorite part of the day was running around and screaming.  I did that a lot!  I also got to meet his baby brother Marshall.  He's six weeks old and just a doll.  Every time Mommy tried to hold him I wanted to be near him and love him and hold him myself.  I made him cry though.  Mommy said we'll be great when Zia gets here as long as she doesn't hold her.  I kept giving him his covers when he was in his swing and wanted to give him his binky but Mommy wouldn't let me.  I did my job though.  I paid attention to Myles and kept him busy the whole time we were there.  Hopefully, he'll take a nice long nap so Jess can get a break!  Mommy didn't really get any pictures of me and Marshall because she was busy making sure I didn't hurt him.  Jess got some.  Mommy is going to ask her to email some when she gets a few minutes.  We'll be patient since she's still so new to being a Mommy to 2 boys!

Busy morning
posted on 01/26/2009

Mommy got me up this morning and I didn't even get to watch any tv or play any games.  We got dressed right away and out the door we went.  I was pretty cranky about it too.  Mommy is always reminding Daddy that he's not a happy camper when he first wakes up so it's no wonder I was pretty miserable before we left.

She said we were going to grab some breakfast and hit the mall.  As soon as we got there, I saw my friend Braedon and Mommy's friend Melissa.  Daddy even went with us because we've all been inside for a few days and needed to get out.  We didn't really do anything but walk around.  I lost my freedom a few times because I kept running away.  I did get a new book and got to see some really cool Tinkerbell stuff at Burlington and JCPenney's.  I love Tinkerbell!!! love7   icon_syda

After we said goodbye to our friends we headed to Wegman's because Mommy and Daddy needed a few things real quick and since we were right there, we stopped.  Guess who we ran into???  Grandma Lois!!!  dance  I told her all about our morning (even though she didn't understand) and I kept saying "where did he go  icon_scratch ?"  Mommy thinks that I was looking for Grandpa John!  I think she's probably right.

We then piled back into the car and headed to Circuit City so Mommy and Daddy could get a new mouse.  They've been having a lot of issues with their's lately and since they have everything on sale that's where we went.  While they were picking one out, I was playing with the keyboards.  Did you know there is a ton to choose from?  So many letters to bang on.  I liked that store.  Mommy didn't mind if I touched things there.  Usually, I'm not allowed to.  Since we were so close to PetSmart, we ran in there too so I could see the fish.  The craziest part is I was more interested in the bird toys and "stuff" than the animals.  We didn't stay long.  We did buy a new scrub brush for the tank though.  Mommy said it's getting kinda green.  Hopefully this will help.  We aren't supposed to get an algae eater because they tend to like the slime on the fish better than the slime in the tank.  Besides, they get too big and would quickly outgrow our little aquarium.

I came home and had some lunch and watched a short video and then played in my crib for almost 2 hours before I fell asleep!  sleepy2  Mommy let me sleep for just a little big before she woke me up.  I don't like to be woken up!!  nono

Happy birthday Jess and our Friday outing
posted on 01/24/2009

Friday was Jessica's 15th birthday.  Mommy said Jess will always be her first baby.  Mommy was with Miss Beth when she delivered baby Jessica and was her babysitter for a long time.  Mommy and Jessie are really good friends.  Jess is a good kid and Mommy hopes I grow up to be like her.  Athletic, smart, pretty and fun.  She can be kinda dorky sometimes though.   headbang  Anyways, Happy Birthday Jess!!

Daddy had to run an errand early Friday morning but he made it home in time to get me and Mommy and go see Johnny Only.  Mommy is really proud of Daddy for sticking with the guy.  I really enjoy going and watching all the kids and dancing.  I'm learning more and more songs every time I go.  It's really a lot of fun.  I also get to see some of my friends there.  Today we saw baby Caroline, Nicole, Michelina, Corine, Lydia, and baby Andrew.  I kept getting distracted by all the kids running around behind the curtain though.  Mommy said next time we make sure we get there a little earlier so we have a better seat so I pay more attention to Johnny Only.  We stopped in to see Grandma Lois and Grandpa John afterwards.  I wouldn't stop running into the spare room and even broke my way into their bedroom.  I'm such a little snot that way.  Mommy pulled out my crayons and I colored a picture with Grandma Lois.  Check out the photos for some cuteness.

Today, Mommy and Daddy were cleaning fools.  Daddy did the upstairs and he and Mommy cleaned the entire livingroom and rearranged.  It opens the room up a little bit more and we can utilize the loveseat a little better.  Mommy feels much better now that it's done.  They got part of the kitchen done, the rest will be done tomorrow!!

Our Wednesday outing
posted on 01/21/2009

it wasn't very exciting, but we got out of the house today.  Mommy had an appointment with her doctor to check on baby Zia.  She was very prepared to take me today.  Had a bag full of books, snacks and water.  She even brought a pack of Nemo fruit snacks.  Those are enough to keep me occupied for a long time!!  I love me some Nemo's.  icon_thumright  I played with the few toys they had there and then Mommy and I colored for a little bit.  The Doctor wasn't too horribly late but he was out delivering a baby so it could have been worse.  Mommy wouldn't let me stand on the scale with her though.  I just don't get that.  Mommy said I'll understand when I get older.  We got to hear the baby's heartbeat.  Nice and strong!!  Measuring spot on to the week too.  Yay Zia!

We also hit CVS and the Giant.  Told you it wasn't very exciting.

I got home and snacked.  Didn't feel like eating.  I'm getting really bad with that and then Mommy's phone rang.  She made me hurry up and get my shoes and jacket on again because we had to go rescue Daddy.  He didn't know we have a few dollars left so he didn't put any gas in the truck and he ran out.  It was pretty scary because he was right past a curve on 81/17.  Those big semi trucks drive really fast!!

History

Mommy took my pictures with the tv today.  She's strange.  Something about Barack Obama being the first something or other.  She took the pictures to prove that I was around for this historic event even though I'm only 23 months old.

I thought it was pretty fun to take a picture, run over to Mommy to see it and run back to the tv and say "again."  I love doing things over and over.

Mommy said I'm silly
posted on 01/16/2009

Mommy hasn't uploaded the pictures yet, give her a day or two... but I've decided that my sit-n-spin is not only a good chair, but it's a really good stool too.  Today, I used it to stand on to reach the movies that are supposed to be out of my reach.  Of course, Mommy got pictures.

We picked up Mommy's car today.  Boy is it cold outside!!  No wonder we haven't gone anywhere.  Mommy wouldn't even take me down to get the mail it's been so cold.  Since we were out, we ran to Wegman's to pick up a few things we needed.  I was really a good girl Mommy said.  I got to ride the car cart even though it was really cold and had snow on the seat.  I got a cookie and said Hi to our friend Tracy.  She didn't have Sarah or Josh with her, but it was fun to run into her.

Right now, Daddy is making a hamburger/onion pizza.  It smells so yummy.

Hockey, family, car and a few new words
posted on 01/15/2009

We haven't done anything lately because Mommy doesn't have a car.  It's still in the shop and we don't have the money to fix it so we have to stick around here.  It's just too cold to go venturing outside anyways.

Yesterday though, I got a great surprise (even though Mommy kept telling me) after nap.  I came downstairs to find Keith, Jacob and Alyssa hanging out!  I was really shy at first because I just woke up after a short nap.  Once I warmed up a little bit, I kept talking and showing Keith my toys and taught him how to speak whale.  Jacob and I kinda sorta played.  He is still afraid of me, but we got to play and that's always fun.  After dinner we bundled up and piled into Daddy's truck and headed downtown.  Uncle Keith treated us all to the hockey game.  Rochester was in town to play the Senators.  It was a lot of fun.  We had awesome seats  too.  I really was afraid of the hockey players though.  Mommy said, Miss Beth would be very disappointed because I wouldn't high five them like Jacob was doing.  Mommy even gave a guy a five but it was scary because they are so tall and have on face masks.  One guy had a cage on his face.  What's up with that??  I really didn't pay any attention to the game, I just wanted to run around during intermission.  We walked the loop and I kept walking into people's butts because I wasn't paying attention.  Mommy said "typical 2 year old."  Only worried about myself and everyone better get out of my way.  I got a lot of smiles and waves because I'm so dang cute!!  The Amerks ended up losing but at least it was fun.  After the game, Jacob likes to hang out with the players.  He even had a message for one of them.  Check out the picture page for my picture with Max the Senator's mascot and a big young prospect for Florida.  You'll see by the pics that I wasn't really a big fan of either of them but Mommy said when I get older, I'll understand.  Plus it was wayyyy past my bedtime!!!  I didn't want to say goodbye to Jacob either but he had to go home right away.  It really bites that they live in Rochester.  Mommy said over the summer we hope to see more of them!

I learned the word tomorrow.  Mommy laughs at me because I really don't know the meaning of it.  I also learned hockey, butt, one more (I don't get the meaning of that one either), eat, excuse me (and I use it in the right context!!) and gummies (my vitamins).

MY HAIR!!!!
posted on 01/11/2009

Daddy got called into work tonight, so Mommy and I played and then she gave me a bath.  Afterwards, I was brushing my teeth and asked to brush my hair and look what happened to it.  DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG MOMMY HAS WAITED TO MAKE MY HAIR DO THAT??????  She is so excited.  I don't really know why she was excited, but she was and showed me the mirror.  I thought it was pretty funny too.

There's a few more pics in the photo section.
