A heads up to all my loyal readers, friends and family....

Since we are moving on Sunday, we didn't get the order in early enough to have our internet and phone switched over in time.  We will be without home phone and internet until September 10th!  I regret to inform everyone that there will not be any updates in that time.  Mommy's cell phone and Daddy's cell phones will remain the same and you can still call us on those.

We have been really busy packing and trying to stay sane.  We have all come down with a cold too so that is making things even more miserable.  We really look forward to the move though.  We will have a small yard and can play outside anytime I want to.  I also got a riding toy and a slide from my boy Myles.  He and his family had to move and didn't have room to take that stuff with them.  I'm really sad to see them go but hope they aren't gone too long!!  Anyways, wish us all luck on Sunday's big move and we'll be back with updates when our internet is up and running again!  Hugs and kisses to everyone!!

BORING
posted on 08/28/2008

I am so bored and I don't like it!!!  Both Mommy and Daddy are sick.  Daddy is a day behind on Mommy.  He just got the sore throat, her's is gone but she's dripping nasties out her nose, coughing and sneezing.  Mommy told Daddy that it's coming for him!  We haven't done anything fun and all they keep doing is taking stuff and putting it into boxes and then closing the door to the spare room behind them.  I just don't understand why we can't do anything fun and WHERE DID ALL MY TOYS GO????  Why did they take everything off my walls in my room??  I'm so cranky.  The only thing keeping me happy is watching "Wee-O" on tv.  (Mommy said that's Nemo in "Sonyea-ese.")  I just love that movie, but get scared in the beginning when the baracuda goes after Coral.

Long update
posted on 08/24/2008

So much has happened since we last updated the page!!  First of all, on Wednesday, our internet went out.  The fixer guy came Sunday morning to fix it even though he wasn't scheduled until Monday.  We are all happy to have our internet back on!!

Thursday, Mommy left me all afternoon with Daddy and I slept just about the entire time she was gone.  I do that all the time!!  She had to go to her doctor to set up prenatal visits for the new baby.  We are officially due April 22nd, but will have a scheduled c-section the week before.  We'll have a diamond baby, no matter what!!!  We get to have an ultrasound done September 4th to make sure the baby is where (s)he should be and we'll be able to see the heartbeating.  I'm going to go and be a big girl, unless Mommy changes her mind as the date gets closer and gets a sitter.  She said she'll let me know.

Friday, I got to go see Dr. Abueg.  His nurse, Mary is really cool.  It always makes me nervous though when she picks me up and puts me on the scale.  Then she lays me down and makes marks on the paper.  Mommy was so proud of me.  I'm 34.25 inches tall and 31 pounds.  My head circumference is 20 inches.  I'm still way off the charts, but Dr Abueg says I'M PERFECT!!  I even showed him what a shark says.  He thought that was pretty funny and I'm a smart cookie for knowing so many animal noises and actions.  They all joked around about how tall I'm going to be.  They figure I'll be over 6 ft tall.  If I'm going to be in the Olympics, I'll have to be a volleyball player or basketball.  Both Mommy and Daddy said I have to play volleyball because they don't like basketball.  After all the joking around though, he checked me out.  My ears are perfect, my mouth looks good, he even checked out my wrists because Mommy was concerned about the size of one of the bones but he said it's all good.  There's a "growth plate" in the hands and feet and if one is bigger than the other it'll eventually even out as it grows.  I got dressed and then Mary came back in the room carrying something I didn't quite recognize.  She made me lay down and Mommy was talking softly to me and rubbing my head.  That made me feel better.  I got 3 shots and only whimpered for a second with the 2nd shot.  Mommy was so proud of me for being such a big trooper and not getting all carryied away with crying.  Mommy said she has to get a flu shot in a few months but I'm not sure how that is supposed to make me feel better.  The best news all day, is that I don't have to get any more shots until I'm 4 years old!!!  We didn't get the chicken pox vaccine though.  Mommy said I have to wait until we meet up with a kid with them or get the vax right before school starts.  I did run a low grade fever later that night and was very cranky but overall I did great with the shots.

Shortly after we got home, Mommy's phone rang and we ran downstairs.  GRAMMIE AND GRANDPA RON were here!!!!  Mommy told me that they were coming earlier in the day but I had forgotten.  What fun that was.  We hung out and played, then we walked down to the park and I got to walk Vicky again.  We had some dinner and then went to Humdinger for ice cream.  I really like those.  I went right to bed because it was a big day.

When I woke up on Saturday, Mommy and Daddy were gone and I got to spend the entire day with Grammie and Grandpa alone.  We went to Arnold Park.  I showed them how to play on the swings and slides and in the sand box.  For lunch, we stopped at McDonald's.  I then took a good nap after Grandpa rubbed my back to help me fall asleep.  After nap, we took Vicky for a long walk again.  I'm the best dog walker in the world!!  For dinner, we ran down the hill to the Park Diner and guess who showed up??  Mommy and Daddy!!!!!  They were back from their wine tasting tour at Seneca Lake.  They said they had fun... but I bet they didn't have nearly as much fun as I did with Grammie and Grandpa.

Sunday was fun too.  I took Grammie and Grandpa down to the park by our house again and made Grammie go down the slide with me.  They were gone by the time I woke up from nap.  I hate that...but they had to go back to Buffalo.  We'll see them again in a few weeks when Grammie comes to watch me while Mommy and Daddy go to a wedding.

Mommy had to wake me up from my nap Sunday though.  I was so tired still, but we had to go to a picnic at our friend's house in Newark Valley.  We haven't seen Morgan and Mathieu and Yvonne and Brian in a really long time.  Guess who else came??  Nicholas and his mommy and daddy and Aiden with his parents as well.  I also got to meet another baby and her Mommy but it's really late and I forget their names right now.

I'm currently giving Mommy and Daddy A REALLY HARD TIME FALLING ASLEEP.  My teeth are killing me.  Mommy really hopes this stage doesn't last much longer.  My sleep is severely being disrupted and she doesn't like it when I don't get as much sleep because it stresses her out.  Silly mommy!!

Thanks to our friends Amy and Dave for inviting Mommy and Daddy to their wine tasting party bus tour.  Thanks to Grammie and Grandpa for visiting so they could go.  Thanks to our friends Yvonne and Brian for having us over to play with their really cool backyard fun toys!!

We are very happy to have our internet back as well.  It looks to be another busy week and Mommy said we'll have to hurry up and finish packing because we are moving at the end of the week!

Johnny Only again!
posted on 08/20/2008

I was up early enough, had breakfast, got dressed and went out the door with Mommy this morning.  Filled up the gas tank and headed to Highland Park again.  What fun Johnny Only is.  I was dancing and clapping my hands, I even did a few animal noises along with some of his songs.  If you haven't heard of him before, we've seen him a bunch of times this past year and plan on following him around for the fun.  Check out his website for dates if you want to join us!!  Some of our favorite songs play on that site too.  Check them out to see what we like to do!

Our favorite part about Johnny Only is that it's only a short distance to Grandpa John's house.  We like to stop by and visit for awhile since we are so close.  Today, I got some yummy apple/cinammon crisps.  We didn't get to see Grandma Lois today though.  Maybe next week we'll get to see her!  Isn't it awesome that he gets to work at home and we can stop by anytime we want to?

A long walk
posted on 08/17/2008

As usual, after dinner I got really antsy and wanted to do something.  Mommy decided that we needed to walk off dinner.  So we put the leash on Vicky and headed out the door, down the street and around the block.  It was a different block from the other day though.  We met different puppies and a few cats.  I met one of the people too.  She was weed-eating her lawn and told me all about her cat Wiffles.  We also met a lady walking her puppy who's name is Woody.  I really like meeting other animals.  Mommy was getting really mad at me though because I wasn't listening to her.  I kept walking up people's driveways and I even once ran into someone's back yard.  Mommy lectured me on the effects of running away.  She said I was lucky there wasn't a mean dog back there!!  She said next time I might have to wear my leash if I don't behave.  She only wants me to be safe.  Towards the end, you could tell I was getting tired because I was playing with the grass and smooshing ants.  Mommy really doesn't like it when I kill little things.  She hopes I grow out of that with enough lecturing.

Now it's past bedtime and I'm fighting it again.  Last night when it was just me and Mommy, I had my routine and went to bed.  Tonight, I'm fighting it hardcore.  Daddy is trying his hardest to get me to sleep and I'm just stating my case on why I don't want to go to bed.  My teeth hurt.  We hope these molars come in fast!

Arnold Park

What a fun place to play!!!  Mommy said we are going back there.  I really liked it and so did Mommy.  We climbed all over the place.  I climbed up the rock wall, thanks to help from Daddy, and climbed up a bunch of ladders too.  I got to go down a bunch of slides with Mommy and even some by myself.  I got to swing on a swing with my Mommy too.  That is so much fun to sit on her lap and hug while swinging.  I did climb up on the kiddie place too but the big kids stuff is way more fun.  They have a giant sand pit there too.  I was digging and throwing sand around.  I had to dig out Daddy's feet because somehow he lost them in the sand.  Silly Daddy.  Mommy said we'll be sure to make plans with our friends to meet up there.  What a great park!  I hope to show Grammie next week how much fun it is.

Fun at the park
posted on 08/15/2008

After we got up this morning, I had waffles and a banana for breakfast.  We were a little late in meeting our friends, but we meet Heather, Kait and Donovan at the Kirkwood Park.  That place is pretty cool.  When we first got there, I walked Vicky around and showed her off to the kids that were there.  Everyone loves Vicky!!  I got to swing on both the kiddie swing and the big kids swing. I can't go as high in the big kids swing.  I also climbed up this really, really, really tall ladder and slide down a huge slide all by myself.  Mommy is still really nervous about letting me do that.  I did slip once but she was there to catch my foot so I didn't actually fall off the ladder.  A few times I almost hurt myself on the slide too.  I kept pushing my feet out to the side instead of sliding all the way down.  Mommy said I'm a crazy kid and will get it eventually.  It's right by our new house so we'll be a lot.  I also helped Donovan find acorns.  Actually, Mommy did most of it by pulling the branches down and pulling them off the tree.  He said he just likes to collect them.

On the way back to the car, I was busy saying bye bye to my friends when I wasn't paying attention I hit my forehead on the car door.  Ouch!  I'm ok though.  We came home and had some lunch.  I really didn't want any though.  I fed most of my sandwich to Vicky and made Mommy pick up the banana off the floor.  I have her so trained!!

I went down to take a nap, but I was having none of that.  Mommy washed the bumper in the crib so it wasn't there and I was a little confused.  Daddy got me up and took me for a ride to see the big Saint Bernard we met a few weeks ago.  I love that dog!  Then I came home and took a nap!

A walking experience
posted on 08/13/2008

I got really cranky after dinner tonight.  I don't know what it is.  Mommy thinks it's my teeth because I'm just not napping like I should.  I'm sleeping through the night, I do occassionally get up crying but Daddy turns on the rainmaker and I'm out again.  Mommy said that Vicky had to go potty so I went with them.  I put on my new sneakers and Mommy grabbed some poop bags and I grabbed the leash and off we went.  Vicky didn't want to walk.  She just wanted to do her business and go back upstairs but that's not any fun for me.  We walked down the street and ran into a bunch of the local boys.  They were bouncing.  I've never seen such a thing.  Mommy said it's a pogo stick.  They stand on this thing and then just bounce.  Reminds me of Tigger!!  Boing boing!  We kept walking and then it happened.  Vicky pooped.  I didn't want to stand around and wait.  I wanted to keep walking.  Mommy was laughing at me because I had a drop to the ground temper, crying and spitting all along.  That's my new thing.  I spit and sputter when I'm really upset.  Mommy has it on video but will upload it another time.  It's pretty sad, but funny.  After Mommy picked up the poop I was cool because we got to walk again.  We got to the end of the block and turned.  I was so shocked.  I thought for sure we were going back.  We didn't even get half way around the block and I had another temper because Mommy wouldn't let me carry the poop bag.  Again, ,she laughed.  I was so upset!!!  I finally got composed and then saw the kids again through the fence at the church and I just wanted to play with them.  Mommy said they were too old for me to play with.  She said if they were a bunch of girls it would be different.  Most boys don't like little kids my age but I really don't understand that.  I thought everyone in the world thought  I was cute?  How can it be that there are people out there that don't like me?  Mommy said something about the old hag downstairs not liking me.  She did explain though that it's not me, it's the fact that Mommy lets me run.  Well, their dog is always barking the instant they leave so Mommy and Daddy said I can run all day long from now until we move.

That was quite the tangent wasn't it?  Back to my story....  we finally got back to walking and ran into a car with two girls in it.  They were waiting for someone and I just stopped and said "hi".  See, everyone just loves me!  Then Mommy said we had to keep moving so I said "bye bye" to them.  I say bye bye to everyone for every occassion.  By the time we got back to our side of the block, Mommy and Vicky were ready to be done with our walk.  See, I don't run around outside.  There is too much to look at.  Dogs bark at us as we walk by and then I have to bark back at them.  Mommy is still trying to teach me that I can't just run up to animals we don't know.  She said "not all animals are as nice as Vicky is."  We met a really cute cat down the street too.  Mommy said it was really nervous about seeing Vicky but it didn't know that Vicky doesn't care.  Then as we passed on by, it started following us!  I kept saying "bye bye" to the cat, but it kept on following us!!  It was cute, reminded Mommy of Timon at Miss Beth's house, but she said we can never have a cat.  She's allergic really bad.

After we finally got home I got a bath and then Daddy tried to get me on the potty.  I was having none of that and peed on the floor right by the door.  OOPS!
