Mommy and I were laying on the couch with Vicky this morning and I stood up and jumped on her belly.  Mommy said "Be careful because there's a baby in there."  I looked at mommy and at her belly and questioned "Baby?"  I don't get it.  Mommy said I can't see it until April.  When the heck is that?

Our trip to Buffalo was really quick, but it was a great way to celebrate Kayla's 10th birthday.  I got to hang out with Grammie and Grandpa Ron.  We got in really late Saturday night and only got to hang out for a short while before we had to go to bed.  When we woke up Sunday morning, we went to breakfast and then a car ride.  Mommy thought I was going to take a nap... boy was she wrong!!  When we got back to their house, it was raining outside and we couldn't play.  I got really antsy so that was when we went to Miss Beth's house and hung out for a bit.  I got to play with some of Jessie's old dollhouse stuff.  I put the people in the cars and drove them around and then I gave the baby a bath.  What fun toys they have!  After we had snacks and cake and ice cream (YUM!!) we had to leave to come back home.  I fell asleep before the gas cap was even put back on.  Boy, was I tired!! Woke up in time to have some dinner at Arby's and then hung out for the ride home.  Mommy said next time we take a trip, we are bringing the DVD player so I can watch movies!!

I helped give Vicky a hair cut today.  I thought it was really funny!  Mommy said not to laugh at her though because someday I'm going to get a haircut and not like it.

Then after she was done, I tried to ride her like a pony again.  I got on this time too... but fell off right away.

Some more fun

After my nap today, Mommy gave me some lunch and we changed into our swim suits again.  We drove down to Schnurbusch Park to go swimming.  I really like that place.  I was so excited, I was ready to go before I even got my sandals off.  Mommy let me play in the little kid's pool and run into the big pool the whole time.  I can get in and step down the first few steps before I just sit down and splash.  Mommy showed me that it was really fun to jump in.  She was standing in the pool and put me on the side, then said "ready, set, splash" and I jumped in.  She caught me every time, thank goodness!!  Mommy said she's going to look into setting me with swim classes after we move.  How fun would that be.

When we got home, I changed my clothes and then went on an outing with Daddy.  We went to Arnold Park with the Serfass family.  Unfortunately, I was too little to do anything.  Daddy was pretty disappointed but just being out with my Daddy is pretty cool.  I got a balloon, but when we got home it got stuck in the door and flew away.  I had a hard time going to sleep knowing that I didn't get to say Goodnight to my Mommy and give her a kiss so I just whined and cried until Daddy got me up.  We watched the Yankee's game until Mommy came home.  She had our friend Marnielle with her.  That was a nice surprise to see her.  I gave her hugs and kisses and we talked about her in-laws and how they rode a bike across the country.  That's pretty crazy.  After she left, Mommy put me to bed and it was AFTER 10PM!!!  I cried for a few minutes but then realized how tired I really was and went to sleep.

Two outings today

Mommy said I've been couped up a lot lately so we went to Creature Comforts for bird food this morning.  I ran around yelling like I owned the place.  They are doing a lot of construction so Mommy wouldn't let me run around like she normally does.  Didn't want me to bother the workers or get somewhere I shouldn't.  We didn't stay that long though, but long enough to see some really cool new salt water fish and snails.  I visited the birds for a minute too.  Mommy said since I was acting so crazy that we'd head to Otsiningo Park to run around the playground.  I really get shy when there are a lot of kids.  I did some climbing and slid down one of the slides and rode one of the swings.  We weren't there that long though because I kept trying to follow kids that we didn't know and Mommy said she didn't want us to act creepy.

After a nice, long three hour nap I had some lunch and we ran out to meet up with Marnielle and Myles at a really cool park in Conklin.  The kiddie pool is just my size and helped me warm up to the big pool.  By the end of our visit there I was laughing and splashing and trying to get into the big pool by myself.  Check out the photos for our pool visit.  I was much cuter but Mommy didn't want the camera that near the pool because she was afraid of it getting ruined.  She's pretty ticked too because it looks like we went on a rainy day.  Trust us, the sun was shining and it was a beautiful 80 degree day in Conklin.  We had the best time and both me and Myles were pretty upset when we had to leave.  Myles had to get his car back home for his Daddy to go to work.  Our fun didn't end there though, we followed them home and I got to play with Myles and his toys.  They also have a really hyper little dog.  He kept licking my neck and sniffing my ears.  I didn't think it was that funny, but Mommy kept laughing.  Myles and I will become better friends eventually.  Right now, we aren't too sure of sharing toys together.  We do great following each other around and playing at the pool but when toys are involved... that's another story.  Wink

Zoo trip
posted on 08/03/2008

Mommy and I were feeling cooped up again today.  Daddy decided to take us to the park but Mommy decided to go to the zoo!  I got to run around for awhile and we were lucky to be in the wolf building when it started raining.  We didn't get wet at all, except what fell off the trees afterwards.  I got to meet Dee Janis today.  I gave her a hug and a kiss.  Mommy said she used to talk to her all the time when she worked at the zoo.  Dee has a grandbaby boy that lives in Italy that is just about the same age as I am!  That's pretty cool that he lives in Italy.  When I saw Jenna though, it was time to say bye bye and we left.  I told most of my animal noises to Kristin though.  Afterwards, I came home and had nachos that Daddy made from scratch and watched Kung Fu Panda.  I came down with a low grade fever, so I just hung out on the couch watching the movie.  Mommy gave me some Tylenol so the fever was back down in no time and I was up running around after Vicky and kept trying to sit on her like she was a pony!  Mommy and Daddy thought it was very funny, Vicky eventually hid under the table where I couldn't get to her.  Then I had a bath, bottle and bedtime!
