I got yelled at last night for coloring on the fridge! We were playing on the floor and coloring on paper. I did really good, mommy said I drew an 8, an M and and N. Not sure what those are, but I guess I'm a genious! Then I took the blue crayon and when nobody was looking I started drawing big lines on the fridge. Mommy heard it and took away the crayons. She said it's just the beginning and warned Daddy not to let me have crayons unattended. Mommy left it there for now because she wants to get a picture of it, she said she'll post it later on when I'm not underfoot.

Right now, I'm taking my baby doll for a ride on the train. She loves it! The animals get to play all the time, now it's Alexis' turn. Hugs!!

They say time flies when you are having fun, yup, we are having a TON of fun. We went to the park for more walking and swinging on Tuesday with our friends. Wednesday we went to the Binghamton Zoo with a friend, mommy forgot the camera. I think it's because I took it out of the diaper bag as we were getting ready. Mommy swears she put it in there! OOps.... I was a good girl yesterday and helped mommy do a ton of laundry. Today, we chill out. The weather is a bit cooler and Mommy wants to relax a bit and get some things done around the house. Sounds like a plan.

Things have been pretty uneventful here lately. The weather had taken a turn for the normal. Poopy dreary and cool. Not like the summer weather we had the week before last! This coming week is promising to be better. Mommy said we are going to meet up with a friend or two to walk hardcore. Something about needing to look good in a dress in a few months. She said I can play after we walk. I have to behave myself and sit nicely in the stroller and talk to Patrick while the mommies walk otherwise we won't be playing at the playground.
My molar came in the other day. It's officially poking through. It's the one on the bottom right. Mommy has been massaging my gums nicely and it's been feeling wonderful. When it's especially bad, she puts Baby Orajel on them. It really does help. Since that one molar came in, I'm not drooling as much. Mommy said she wishes they would all hurry up and come in. This teething business isn't any fun!
Can you believe I'm going to be 15 months old in two weeks?? Mommy can't! She was looking at the calendar for this month and noticed we have a Doctor's appt coming up a the end. Mommy knows I'm doing great but we always like to hear it from the professional. We are pretty nervous about the upcoming shots though. Mommy is going to talk to the nurse about it but she is pretty sure I will be getting the MMR shot. We are going to pass on the chicken pox one again for now. We'll see what kind of boosters I need first. Mommy said I'm done with getting 4 shots at once. We will make sure we get all of our shots in due time, just want them spaced out a little bit. Especially if I have a reaction, we'll know what it's from. So far, I've taken my vaccines like a champ though.
And for the locals... Don't forget that Tioga Terrace Town sale is coming up on the 17th! We are already planning on taking the wagon to see what kind of steals we can get this year!! We'll see you there!

Rough Visit posted on 04/27/2008
It's been a pretty difficult visit to Buffalo so far. I was just not prepared to sit so long in the car ride here. I was only happy for a short while then I cried most of the way. By the time we got to Lancaster, which is only 20 minutes or so from Buffalo, I fell asleep. Mommy and Daddy were really frustrated from all the crying I did. Mommy even made Daddy pull over and put Vicky in the front seat and Mommy sat back with me. We cuddled for a little bit and then I cried a little bit then I played some and then I finally fell asleep. Mommy said it was bitter sweet. Whatever that means.
I had a very hard time falling asleep Friday night too. I slept with Mommy in the bed again. Once they turned off the nightlight I was ok and went right to sleep. Saturday was ok. We hung out and played with Grammie and Jacob most of the day. I even took a short nap with Daddy so I could be rested for our visit with Mommy's oldest friends. We met up with Miss Amy and Miss Gayle. Mommy said it's very weird to call her friend Miss Gayle because her baton teacher is Miss Gayle. They decided to just call her Gayle. Mommy said there are very few people I can direct like that. She wants me to be very polite. I hung out with Avery who is 2 years old. We shared a lot of toys and chased either other around. Mommy said she'll get the pictures up when they get back to Buffalo. Daddy and Mr Scott were watching the NFL draft while the mommies and Gayle hung out talking. Mommy said it was really, really nice to be with her friends again. It's been wayyyyy wayyyyy too long!!! I started getting pretty cranky so Mommy said it was time to call it a night. I fell asleep in the car on the ride home and then went right to bed when we got back to Grammie's house. I even slept in this morning till almost 9am!! Mommy was very proud of me for catching up on some much needed sleep.
Right now, cousin Jacob is playing with Megan next door and I'm walking with Grammie. Miss Beth and Jess are on their way over to see me for a short while before we have to leave to go visit Great Grandpa Jacobs. I'm really looking forward to seeing him again. Mommy said we'll probably hang out outdoors so that Grandpa can see Vicky. Grammie doesn't think she's allowed inside. Mommy said they'll ask when they get there. She's also hoping that I sleep most of the way back to Binghamton. Mommy doesn't think she can handle another ride like she did the other day. She said something about me driving her to drink and smoke!! I have such a weird mommy sometimes.

Syracuse Zoo posted on 04/24/2008
Today, Miss Elisa, Nathan, Hunter, Mommy and I traveled to Syracuse to see the zoo. I got in free because I'm such a little kid still. Mommy was very excited for me to see all the animals. I really wasn't that thrilled to be there. I spent more time watching all the school kids and Nathan. I did enjoy the bears and fish though. Check out the photos for a few of our cuteness encounters.

Hickories Park posted on 04/22/2008
We drove up to Owego today to hang out with our STM friends at Hickories Park. We did some walking, then we did some snacks while the mommies did some talking and then we did some more walking. After awhile, Mommy decided that I needed to swing for a bit. I really like swinging and I don't like to share it. Mommy wanted Aiden to have a chance to swing so we went for a stroll down by the water. Mommy was nervous down there because she didn't want us to find the dead guy that's still missing. The edge was very mushy so mommy wouldn't let me walk around. I didn't have any shoes on either. After the park we met up with Daddy who did a lead and then we went to Harry Tuff's for dinner. YUMMY!!! I was really loud and even got a sucker from the waitress because I was cute. Came home and got a bath with Daddy and right to bed. Another good day!

HUMDINGER!!!!! posted on 04/21/2008
Daddy and Mommy decided to go to Humdinger again today for some ice cream. Mommy decided it was time for me to have my own ice cream. She chose an awesome flavor. I had blackberry and boy was it yummy. At first mommy helped me with a spoon and then she got her own ice cream cone and decided to just let me get dirty. I only got a few drops on my shirt. Mommy said I'm a natural!!

Dove Chocolate Party posted on 04/19/2008
Miss Elisa invited us to a Dove Chocolate Party today. Boy, was it awesome!! I have never had so much chocolate at one time in my ENTIRE life!! I had chocolate covered cookies, I had chocolate covered pretzels, I had chocolate covered marshmellows, I had chocolate mousse and I had chocolate covered strawberries. I'm sure you can imagine I was covered in chocolate myself. Mommy said I had my quota for the year! I was such a good girl, behaved myself like you wouldn't believe. Only time I kept getting into trouble was when I was heading straight for Spooner, that dog just isn't a fan of little kids. He growled at me once and that was the end of it. Cody was cool though. He let me pet him and play with his tags and he gave me lots of kisses. Mommy said she didn't get any pictures of me though because she was busy running around after me and making sure I wasn't touching everything or getting into trouble. I really liked climbing up and down the step to the garage.
The best part of the day, besides all the yummy chocolate was mommy let me drive her car!!!!!!! She had to move it because she was parked behind somebody who wanted to leave and she knew I would cry if she left me alone in the house with strangers (even though I love Miss Elisa). I got to steer. I was just giggling and screeching!!! I really like driving the car. I wonder if Mommy will let me drive tomorrow??
