I really like gymnastics, but Mommy says it's a bad influence on me.   I keep getting yelled at for jumping on the furniture.

You know, I HAVE to do everything Zia does.  No matter what. 

This morning, Mommy saw the weather report and it was supposed to be nice.  Since it was so nice, Mommy decided we were not going to lay around watching tv all day long.  So as I was eating breakfast, the phone rang.  It was Mommy's friend Jess.  Wanted to chit chat.  They weren't doing anything either, so they decided to meet us at the zoo.  Really, it's not a zoo visit unless we have Miss Jess and Myles and Marshall baby with us.  How often do you get to have TWO preschoolers in the same place, sitting still with smiles on their faces??

After Daddy did some workin' this morning we had some lunch and then got ready to go to the movie theater.  I LOVE going there.  Every time we drive by and we don't stop, I have a cow.  I love movies.  Today, we went to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.  Mommy showed me the trailer on the computer and it was so much fun.  Once we got there, we looked at the poster for the Princess and the Frog and then got some popcorn.  Mommy said I'm allowed to eat it now.

After getting through a million commercials and previews the movie started.  Oh what fun we all had!!

 After we got home, Daddy had to take a nap because he has to work tonight.  So instead of laying around watching tv and wasting this nice day we decided to go to the park.  Mommy wanted to take us to MacArthur but I decided I wanted to walk to the park.  So we piled into the stroller and headed down the street to the playground right by our house. 

Mommy decided that Vicky could go with us.  Of course it was a rough start because she hasn't been on a walk in awhile (bad Mommy) but it shortly became fun. 

And then I fell down. And then Vicky started running away without me but I wouldn't let go. She ended up dragging me. Mommy was laughing so hard!! She was surprised that she got the pictures because she was laughing so hard.

Mommy and Daddy really have been slacking on the laundry lately so we piled it all into Daddy's truck and headed down the street to do it all at one time.  It was cheaper too.  I also got to have a lot of fun!! 

Mommy bought a bouncy ball (the best 25 cents!!) and I ran around the whole time.  I had some goldfish and some water for a snack and spent some more time running around.  It makes you very dizzy to watch it spin.

Mommy went to the grocery store and hurried home.  She ended up beating the downpouring rain but as she was helping Daddy put away the groceries and nursing Zia this is what I found.

Mommy's happy she didn't have to unload the groceries in that.  It was bigger than pea size but not quite nickle size.  Mommy kept saying "ouch, my car."  She wouldn't let me play in it either.

HOW COULD MOMMY FORGET????  I'm sleeping in my big girl bed now.  I was jumping up and down in my crib and the rail bent so instead of fixing it, Mommy just took the "darn thing off." (as she put it) She propped me up with Daddy's body pillow and I've been sleeping that way ever since.  That was earlier in the week. 

Two nights ago, I rolled off the bed and didn't even wake up.  Mommy found me half under the futon cuddling up with the sheet from the futon because I was cold.  Laying in front of the fan is chilly!  Mommy tried to get me back into bed but I just rolled over.  She had to pick me up and put me back into bed.  Afterwards, she was kicking herself for not getting a picture!  Silly Mommy!!  Priorities, right?  hahaha

I'm still giving Mommy and Daddy fits about going to sleep at night without them, so usually Mommy will lay on the futon and read her book with a flashlight until I fall asleep.  Mommy is hoping sooner than later that I will put myself to sleep again.  At least I'm sleeping through the night now.  I wasn't earlier. 

I also have a cold but I'm getting better.  Mommy is trying to remember to take a picture of me in my big girl bed!  Maybe tonight she won't be so overly exhausted and will take a second to do so.

First off, I want to wish a very Happy Birthday to Grandpa Ron.

I drew the birthday candles all by myself!  We called to sing Happy Birthday but I just whispered so he probably didn't hear me.  Mommy said maybe later we'd try again.

Second off, Mommy wants to apologize for not updating in awhile.  Life has hit us pretty hard lately.  My baby sister still isn't sleeping very well and it's gotten worse actually.  Last night Mommy hit the fan and spewed everywhere.  Yelled at me and the dog and Daddy.  She tried to take a nap but Zia only slept for 30 minutes.  Not her proudest day, that's for sure.  Today, I decided to be extra good and give extra snuggles and made Mommy smile and laugh alot.  She really appreciated that. 

We are helping her by sleeping at the same time in our own beds.  Mommy is getting a chance to catch up here and had a good lunch.  Mommy is feeling better.

My favorite thing to do lately is cheese for the camera and make funny faces. 

I'm really getting good at it. 

Mommy just laughed out loud when she saw this picture.  We were trying to take a picture of her and me and the camera wasn't facing the right way to get both our faces in it and this is what we got.  Mommy also cropped out her 3 chins to make it an even funnier picture.  (and Zia's eyes are almost that color.)

I've been so loving lately.  I randomly walk up to Mommy and say "I love you" and give her a hug.  I'll also climb up to her and give her a kiss.  We hold hands a lot too.  I just adore my Mommy!  I also like to do the same thing for Zia and Daddy too.  I've even been known to throw in a hug and kiss for Vicky when she's not outside because she was naughty again.

 Hugs are an every day part of life around here.  Mommy really enjoys it and it melts her heart to be so loved. 

I'm really giving Mommy and Daddy fits about going to sleep lately.  I just don't feel very well.  My poops have been yucky and now I'm hoarse, coughing and sneezing.  But, I'm acting totally fine, well, as fine as I can be. 

Mommy and Daddy are starting to get to the end of their ropes with my attitude.  I have nothing to say but "no" and "don't want it."  I'm really pushing their buttons and I'm spending a lot of time on the bottom of the steps for time-outs.  Mommy and Daddy are even arguing over how to handle my naughty-ness.  I'm not the only one going through all this.  All my friends on WTE are doing the same things.  We also need to find out a way to get me to bathe without crying.  I hate getting washed and I hate having my hair washed the worst.  Mommy and I are going to go to the store and maybe pick out a few things to help me have more fun in the bath instead of fighting all the time.

Mommy hemmed and hawed about gymnastics today.  I woke up not feeling very well and Mommy was afraid of spreading whatever I might have to my friends and others but decided in the end to take me gymnastics because had already told me about going and I wanted to go.

I enjoyed it so much last week I really wanted to go have some fun.  I didn't pay much attention to Coach this week.  Just ran around doing my own thing mostly but I'm getting better with jumping on the trampoline and jumping with two feet down the track-ramp.  I even showed Coach how good I am at doing a backwards flip over the roller.  I said a lot of "Ta-Da's" too.  I'm already looking forward to next week and keep asking for Daddy to go with us.  We shall see!
