Mommy was laying around watching me and Daddy today.  She noticed that I am by his side the whole time he is here.  I follow him everywhere.  I love watching daddy.  I just stare at him.  It's crazy!!

After nap this morning, we went to Miss Olivia's apartment to help her load up for her move.  It didn't take very long, I was just interested in playing with Fig!  He's a funny cat, meowing the whole time.  Mommy said he was just really scared about moving.  As we were leaving, Mommy cried a lot.  I'm going to miss her alot too.  She was my babysitter!!  We always had fun together.  Now we have to find someone else at the zoo to keep us in the loop. 

Afterward my afternoon nap, we went to Grandpa John's house.  As usual, Grandma Lois made an awesome dinner.  I ate everything!!  The meat was awesome, the veggies were awesome and that buiscuit!!!  HMMMMM, mommy you have to make some of those.  I really liked it.  The best part was I got my own bowl of ice cream.  Mommy helped me use a spoon all by myself, she really helped out a lot.  She didn't want me making a really big mess though.  I wanted to play with that stereo so bad, but there were no buttons on it.  Who the heck made a stereo with no buttons???  I showed off how I walk around with my walker toy and Vicky did a lot of begging.  She's a crazy dog!!  We really enjoy our time at Grandpa's house.  Especially now that I can crawl and stand up and get into everything.  Mommy said it's good for me to get out and explore.  Thanks again for the wonderful dinner!!

My baby is six months old today.  Where has the time gone?  I am having the time of my life caring for this little development.  She makes me laugh daily and it's so much fun to watch her learn and discover the world around us.>>

Never in a million years did I realize how much MORE fun Sonyea would be at 11 months old.  If I was laughing at 6 months, it's even more fun now.  A lot more heart attacks are involved now that she's jumping up and down while playing on the couch. That is her favorite place to play right now.  She loves to look out the window and watch the cars go by too.

It's been way too long since we've updated everything.  Mommy is very sorry about that.  She is really busy.  I'm growing up nicely and am about to turn 11 months old. Can you believe that??  I'm so smart too.  I know exactly how to turn on my ball popper, I know how to do everything with my house and I love to sing songs with the Stage.  I'm also reading more and more books every single day.  Mommy is getting mad because I'm starting to be unkind to some of them.   A few have lost pages and got folded.  It's hard work to fold some of those thick cardboard books too!!!  I know exactly what I want, when I want it...but getting Mommy to understand is hard sometimes.  She always knows when I'm hungry and when I'm sleepy, but sometimes I get really cranky for no good reason.  They think I have more teeth coming in. 

Mommy changed her mind, we don't need anything on that wish list.  What we should all focus on is savings bonds.  This way I'll have a college fund set up!!  I don't need any toys, I'm ok with clothes!  I need a future!

I am getting so smart because we watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy most nights.  I bet I'll be beating Mommy very soon.  So far, she wins all the puzzles because I can't talk or read yet. 

My schedule is pretty simple.  I sleep from 8pm-8am.  Nap from 11-1 and again from 3:30-5:30.  I'm very predicatable much of the time.  We are going on a play date next Thursday.  Mommy is very excited for me because she knows how much I love watching other kids.  After awhile I get bored and just play, but seeing the kids makes me happy.  They will be mostly older kids, but that's ok.  I know I'll be able to keep up even if I can't walk yet.

Can you believe we got to go to the Park in January??  We didn't even have to bundle all up.  We just went in our shirts.  We did a lot of walking since mommy is trying to get smaller and we visited the playground.  I got to play on the swings, which I just loved.  I was laughing and giggling so hard!!  Daddy was really pushing me higher!!  Maybe Mommy will upload some videos.  I also got to go down the slide all by myself.  Daddy put me up top and Mommy caught me.  I did it twice.  Not so sure about that though. It was really fun going down with Daddy though. 

I also spent much of the walk just laughing at all the dogs I got to see and waving and saying hi everyone we saw.  So many people commented on my great blue eyes and my cool shoes.  What a treat it was to have a 60 degree day in January!!  Mommy said there was  week like this last year too when I was in her belly.  She remembers being very large at work with no jacket on.  I am looking forward to spring time so we can go more often.  Mommy thinks I'll be walking by then and can run around and try things by myself.  We'll have to find a place to tie up Vicky so I can run around!
