Sonyea woke up from her nap with both shoes in her hands.  We decided that was her sign for us to get out of the house and head to the park.  We got all dressed up and put on Vicky's collar and leash and headed to Rec Park.  There we set up Sonyea's walking toy and let her loose.  She was so proud of herself walking through the park all by herself.  It was really, really windy though so we didn't stay long.  Just long enough to get a little bit of walking in, swinging and sliding.  Once we get another non-windy day, we will head out again and be sure to bring the camera this time!!  I'm so mad I forgot it!!!!

Today, we can get back to schedule!  Grammie and Grandpa came into town on Friday.  We went to the mall and hung out.  Saturday, we did a lot of playing too!  Uncle Keith, Aunt Alyssa and Cousin Jacob came over again to play.  We had a great dinner and then everyone headed out to the hockey game again. I stayed at home with Grammie and Grandpa.  We played hard!  I was also up really late again tonight.  Sunday morning, they woke me up!  Can you believe that??  I was still sleeping and they came in my room early and made me get up. I was such a good girl for being so tired though.  I dressed in my new pretty dress and shoes.  Then they gave me a basket with some cool new animals in it for my Ark and Train.  I love the alligator and the hippo!  

We went to breakfast with Great Grandma Elaine and Grandpa Skully and Grandma Patty.  Aunt Midge and Neil were there, and Uncle Johnny and Cousin Johnnie.  Grandpa Ron and Grammie went with us too.  Aunt Leslie and Uncle Gary didn't show up though.  We were sad we didn't get to see them.  After eating breakfast, we went home and I took a nap.  I was sooooo tired. 

Then, THEY WOKE ME UP AGAIN!!!!!  The nerve!  We went to Great Grandma Kay's house for some lunch and family time.  I loved watching all the kids play.  Jordan and Taylor, Tommy and Linden, Emily....  almost everyone was there.  Mommy said next time we get together I'll probably be walking and I'll be able to keep up with all the kids.  We even took Grammie and Grandpa Ron over there to meet everyone.  Grammie had met some of the ladies at Mommy's baby shower for me, but we re-introduced everyone. 

We want to say a special hi to Cousin Mindy.  We finally got her email address and she'll be able to keep in touch with mommy now and she can see all my fabulous pictures.  

After my morning nap today, we are going to meet up with Elisa, Nathan and little Hunter at the Discovery Center.  I'm looking forward to going since I've never been there.  It'll be fun!

We met up with our mommy friends at Chuck E Cheeses again.  I really like watching all the kids there.  I even met the big cheese himself (again).  I ate a lot of chicken and pineapple pizza and met Patrick and Anderson for the first time!  I kept staring at Anderson because he's so handsome.  And Patrick was waving at us and he loved running around.  He was so red faced he had so much fun.  My mommy wouldn't let me out of my stroller because she said she didn't want me to get stepped on. 

We heard that Grammie and Grandpa Ron are coming this weekend!!  YAY!  We get to spend Saturday night together while Mommy and Daddy go to the hockey game with Uncle Keith and Aunt Alyssa.  I also get to play with Jacob again for a little while on Saturday.  I'm really looking forward to it!

Mommy put up the Easter Bunny photo from this year too.  She is so surprised at how similar I look to mommy's photos from she was a baby.  Mommy said she's going to scan some of those pictures for everyone to see but they are in my room and I'm sleeping.  Shhhh!  Maybe tomorrow.  Please be sure to drop us a note and say hi!

Thanks to Maria who pointed out the anniversary of Andrew's first smile I had to go looking for Sonyea's.  Come to find out, it was TODAY!!!!

We went and saw the Easter Bunny tonight with Grandma Patty at the mall.  I got out of my stroller and stood there pointing and smiling at him.  Then Mommy did something strange and put me on his lap.  What the heck???  I cried really hard and some lady was trying to make me smile and showing me some stupid stuffed animal.  I'm not going to smile when I'm sitting on some strange "things" lap!  The picture will be up as soon as we get it scanned. It was really fun hanging out with Grandma Patty and we got pretzels from Auntie Ann's.  Did you know that Grandma had never had one?  We are so proud to have gotten her her very first one! 

Happy St Patrick's day.  Mommy doesn't celebrate it though.  She just wanted to pass along the wishes for those that do. 

We had a very busy weekend!!  Uncle Keith, Aunt Alyssa and Cousin Jacob came to visit.  We played a lot and went to the Amerks/Senators game on Saturday.  Check out the photos for our great seats! 

Our totsite is plumb full, so pictures will start to disappear from my early days to make room for the current pictures.  If you are looking for a specific picture, let Mommy know and she'll get it out for you. 

Mommy wants to go visit the Easter Bunny again.  We'll get that up as soon as we go.  Mommy is hoping for another really cute picture like we had with Santa. 

Cousin Jacob gave me his old Sabres jersey.  It was already signed by Mark Mancari and after the game we had Marek Zagripan and Dillon Hunter sign it.  I was pretty weirded out that there were people writting on my clothes but Mommy said it's ok for them to do it.  Especially for when they make the big team!  I had a lot of fun at the hockey game even thought the Amerks lost in OT. 

Miss Sonyea is a smarty pants!  She's been calling for Mom or Dad as she sees fit!  In the morning, she calls for DAD...  after awhile when he doesn't go in there, she calls for MOM!  That is my cue to get out of bed. 

She does a few things on command, kisses, hugs, high five, wave, get Vicky and "come here." 

She's also started to repeat some things we say. The other day she repeated "hot dog" from Mickey's Clubhouse and last night she was copying the "ahhchoo."  See the video page for that cuteness.  The video is bad because she should have been in bed an hour before so we had the lights out.  But you can surely hear her. 

We've started working with her on brushing her teeth.  When she lays down to get her diaper changed we give her the tooth brush.  If she doesn't do it right away, we show her how and then she does it.  She is still stuck at 6 teeth.  4 on top, 2 on the bottom. 

Today, mommy was busy!  I helped her make chocolate chip/peanut butter cookies and I helped her with the laundry.  I became very cranky when it was time for my bottle and I let mommy know she was late!!  She was in the middle of making the cookies and couldn't sit with me and cuddle like we always do when it's time for a bottle.  Because she was busy, I gave myself the bottle.  Check out the photos.  Mommy was pretty sad to see that I'm capable of doing it myself, but she knows that I'm growing nicely and am becoming more and more independent (even though I've been really, really clingy lately!)

Uncle Keith and Jacob are coming this weekend to visit so mommy was cleaning out the spare bedroom so they don't have to sleep on the floor.  We did the sheet and comforter laundry and even flipped the mattress.  Then we vaccuumed and then we cleaned out the vaccuum.  Did you know that kids are NOT allowed to play with screwdrivers even though you can see them on Handy Manny all the time?  Mommy yelled at me because I kept stealing it.  She also took apart the swing and stored it.  That made her very sad as well.  How come I can't play with and chew on the batteries?  I just don't understand why they don't let me do that kind of stuff.  What can it hurt?  Mommy said it's because it has yucky stuff inside that I could get very sick off of it I got it open somehow.  I was a very good girl today while Mommy was so busy!  She was so proud of me.  Oh and I had a few bites of the hard boiled egg that Mommy made.  I really don't like it.  She said we'll keep trying it.  I didn't have any yogart today either and my poop was pretty solid.  Maybe the yuckies are gone from my tummy?  We'll keep trying to eat some yogart though because it's good stuff.
