I've been dying to go to the zoo lately and so we decided to get all bundled up and go this morning.  It was really cold outside and half way through the zoo a blizzard started.  It was snowing and very windy and ice pellets but it was fun.  We missed out on a lot of animals though because Mommy said the keepers "baby their animals."  The stinkin' Kodiak bear wasn't out!  That animal is native to Alaska for cryin' out loud!!  We did get to see the giraffe and King Kong and the tiger was "knocking on the door saying 'let me in'"  We saw the lions up close under the window and the rainforest animals were really cool too.  That's a nice zoo and I love going.  Mommy said that's the first time she's ever visited a zoo in the snow that she didn't work at!!

We went back to Grammie's house and played until Miss Beth and the girls got home.  Then we went to their house to play.  Daddy wanted to play Rock Band.  I played the drums and the guitar and sang a little bit too. 

Miss Beth gave me a giant puzzle with Mickey Mouse on it and I played in Kayla's room for a little bit too.  Then it was time to say goodbye because we have to leave in the morning.  Poo, I like it there.

Zia and I let Mommy sleep in until 9am.  Sister was awake a lot last night probably because she slept the whole trip in the car.  We were the first one's up and brushed our teeth, went potty and headed downstairs.  Keith and Jakey quickly followed and we were ready for presents.  Mommy and Uncle Keith wouldn't let us touch any presents though without Grammie and Grandpa.  POO ON HER!!  Jakey wouldn't go upstairs and wake them up so I finally did. 

Grammie came down and shortly after so did Grandpa so the present opening began!!

Boy oh Boy did we get spoiled this year.  Uncle Keith and Aunt Alyssa went beyond the call of presents AGAIN this year.  I got a new Princess doll stroller and pack-n-play and a Princess movie projector and books AND princess dress up shoes!! 

Grammie got me all kinds of cool new stuff too. 

Miss Beth and the girls came over later for lunch and I got an awesome new princess book that I keep taking everywhere.  There's a new tub toy too.  Bath crayons that write in the tub and on me and Zia.  So much fun!!

Zia and I went to bed early tonight so Mommy and Daddy took advantage of being kid-less and played games with Grammie.  The kind of thing they can't do when me and Zia are around.  She said it was a lot of fun. 

The first thing I said this morning when I woke up was HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!  She was very happy that I remembered. 

We had breakfast and played some more with all my cool new stuff.  Mommy said she had to start getting ready to pack but it was difficult with me and my sister around.  She doesn't understand how we play so nicely when she isn't doing anything but the second she tries to do ANYTHING we are both at her feet whining or begging or need her for something.  It's no wonder out house is always a mess!

By the time Zia and I went down for naps, Daddy woke up.  It was time to start packing but she decided to have some lunch and watch a few episodes of Jeopardy while we were sleeping.

Once we both woke up it was game on for packing.  We got the trunk jammed with stuff for the ride to Buffalo and Mommy was wondering how we were going to get everything home. 

We got into Buffalo late and as I was sitting down to eat some dinner with Zia, Mommy and Daddy left.  I was ok with that because I love to play with Grammie and Grandpa.  Zia was cool too.  Mommy and Daddy went on a DATE!!  That rarely happens because nobody will babysit us and we don't have the extra money to pay a babysitter.  They went out to dinner with the gift card Mommy won and watched the end of the hockey game. 

We got to stay up really late too because Uncle Keith and Cousin Jacob were coming.  When they finally got there things got really crazy!!  We were having pillow fights and chasing each other.  They tried to teach me how to do "wet willies" but I think they are gross and I'm not going to do those.  (Mommy is pretty thankful for that.)  We got really really crazy and then had to calm down for bed. 

Daddy woke us up all early today.  Since he had to work last night and has to work tonight and we have to be somewhere at 1pm, we had to do presents early.  I was very excited to get up and go see what Santa brought for us. 

Mommy and Zia went downstairs with me and we got right to it.  I was soooooo excited.  Santa used the Princess wrapping paper we left for him too.  Thanks Santa!!  I really wanted to play with everything right away but then again I wanted to continue opening presents.  It was all very confusing but so much fun! 

I got a lot of new princess stuff and the best part was Santa brought my Aurora Pjs.

Daddy went to bed right after breakfast and we played Princess Chutes and Ladders.  Zia started to get fussy so it was naptime for all of us.  She decided she didn't want to nap in her crib so she laid in bed with me and Mommy.  We all took a nice long nap and almost missed Christmas with the Knapp's!!

Vicky ended up waking Mommy and Zia up and while she tried to get Zia back to sleep I woke up.  Had to go potty since I wasn't wearing a diaper and when Mommy looked at the clock she screamed a little!  It was 12:40!!!  We had 20 minutes to get up, get ready and get out the door!!!  By the time we got to Great Grandma Kay's we were only 20 minutes late and we weren't even the last one's there.  We had some yummy lunch and I spent most of the day running around.  I got a new baby doll and Zia got a new ducky.  Thanks Grandma!!  It was great visiting with everyone. 

Mommy tried to take a picture with me and cousin Hayley but trying to get two little kids to smile at the camera at the same time is difficult.  She was the first little baby I got to hold and poke her eyes.  She can still see so it's all ok.  I really didn't want to leave but Daddy had to get more sleep because he had to work that night.

We played with a lot of my new toys and Mommy tried to clean up but Zia and I had different plans.  We just wanted to play some more!!  Mommy kinda got the kitchen cleaned up and most of the toys straightened up too before bed.

After nap today, we got all dressed up and headed to Grandma Patty's house.  Uncle Johnny and Cousin Johnnie were there but little Johnnie was sick.  He had a bit of a fever so he was laying in Grandma's bed watching tv.  They didn't want to get me and Zia sick.  (thanks!)  We hung out and opened some awesome presents.  Grandma did an awesome job on the present department this year.  We got some really neat things and Zia keeps playing with my Little People airplane.  I only get a chance to play with it when she's sleeping. 

We played with our new stuff for a little bit then we got bundled up and headed to Aunt Leslie's house.  There were a lot of people there that I didn't remember from last year.  Aunt Leslie has a new dog.  She's a little weiner dog!  Just my size to play with.  She really entertained me all night long.  I cried really hard, long and loud when it was time to leave.  Mommy said we'll go visit that puppy again sometime.  Thanks Aunt Leslie for having us over and for giving me a new baby doll and Zia a new spinny toy.  It was great seeing everyone again.

I cried for a long time in the car on the way home too.  Only we didn't head straight home.  We drove out of the way to see a really neat Christmas light display.  Mommy's friend Cookie told us about it.  It was much better than the one at the park and it was free too.  There were tons of blow up stuff and music stuff and a Yankee's display and it was just awesome.  There were a ton of cars there too.  Mommy said we'll remember it for next year and go early so we don't have to wait in line and get stuck in traffic. 

Both Zia and I were very much overtired by the time we got home and the house was trashed.  I set out some milk and cookies and carrots/celery for Santa and the reindeer.  I put out the key for Santa so he could get in and then we headed to bed.  I was really nervous!!  I had a hard time falling asleep because I didn't want Santa to bother me when I was sleeping, didn't want him to touch me when I was sleeping either.  Mommy just giggled and said Santa won't bother me!! 

We went to play with Baby Callie and Alaina today.  I love her.  She's smiling and talking a lot now.  Such a sweetheart. I get frustrated though because Alaina won't play with me.  She's shy and just watches.  I was making some dinner with the kitchen, and handed out ice cream  for everyone and she didn't want any.  Someday she'll play with me, right? 

After we got home I got ready for nap and told Mommy I didn't want a diaper for naptime.  She said "ok" and proceded to leave me for my nap.  And guess what???  I woke up dry!!  YAY!! 

Thank you to Grandma Lois and Grandpa John for my new Little People Palace.  Zia and I have been playing with it a lot, I really like to brush everyone's hair with the brush for the horse. 

I was up really late last night, just didn't want to go to sleep because I took a late nap.  I spent the night in my room playing and reading stories to Vicky.  I finally went to sleep at almost 11:30pm and then woke up crying shortly after midnight.  I ended up sleeping in Mommy's bed.   I didn't even notice when Daddy came to bed this morning and I didn't notice when Mommy and Zia got up either. 

After Mommy changed Zia's diaper she said I was next.  My reply, "No, no diaper."  Mommy looked at me like I was speaking another language and called me over.  I wasn't wearing my pull up anymore!!  Mommy was shocked.  She checked to make sure I wasn't wet and then she went upstairs to check my bed to make sure it wasn't wet.  It wasn't.  Can you believe I slept without a diaper last night??  I took it off when I was playing and never put it back on.  Mommy never would have let that happen had she known.  Especially to let me sleep in her bed without a diaper.  Wow!

We had a pretty cranky morning.  I missed out on a few hours of sleep, Mommy lost out on a lot of sleep as well and Zia didn't take her morning nap.  It was a house of cranks today.  We woke Daddy up early so Mommy could take a shower and she said we were going to go out and do something fun but she wouldn't tell me what it was.

I finally nagged her enough to go and we got into my car seat and headed out.  We started driving and I still had no idea.  We parked in a big building downtown and got out and started walking.  It was REALLY WINDY and COLD!!! 

We stopped outside another big building and Mommy showed me a sign that had a picture of Nemo on it.  Asked if I wanted to go see Nemo.  I jumped up and said YES! 

We had awesome seats to see Finding Nemo on Ice.  If you know what a hockey rink looks like, we sat at the first row where the glass should have been.  They took down all the glass to make it easier to see.  There were two rows in front of us down on the ice but only one row was in use.  Mommy took a BUTT load of pictures and is uploading them to our favorite website to make a montage on.  We'll share it when it becomes available. 

I was such a good girl.  Mommy was so proud of me.  We couldn't take home any gifts though but we did get a pretzel.  We saw a bunch of our friends there too.  They all had a great time. 

Mommy said the tickets to see Nemo were my big Christmas present.  I really enjoyed myself and Mommy loved it too.  Often she wished that Daddy and Zia and Jessie could have come with us.  The colors were so pretty and the music was fun and the ice skaters were good too.
