First shower, first taste of pasta

Today was a record breaking day of heat. Mommy was pretty miserable and wanted to take a shower to cool off. She had a bright idea to take me with her. She got the tub ring all set up, got the shower running and put me in the tub ring. As soon as the water started hitting my head, I FREAKED OUT!!! I H-A-T-E-D the shower. Mommy picked me up and I was fine. We didn't get clean, but we did get cooled off. I was fine when mommy was holding me. Everything is better in my mommy's arms!
For dinner, I had chicken and veggies. Mommy added some green beans that she cooked the other day. I scarfed them down in no time. YUMMY!! Then it came time for Mommy to eat. She had leftovers of pork and linguine. As soon as I saw that she had food, I was like a little baby birdie chirping for food. Mommy kept giving me some and I kept taking it. I gummed some, I spit some out because they are slippery and I swallowed some whole. Never once did I choke. Mommy is so proud of me and my eating abilities. I love my mommy for letting me have some fun stuff. She drew the line though when she had some doritos and cookies for desert. I sure made a fuss though that I couldn't have any. I can't possibly be any cuter!!!

I can crawl now. I really don't know it yet though. When I want something, I go get it. But when Mommy and Daddy sit in front of me and I want to go to them, I forget that I can. I'll whine and rock until they come get me. I'm a sweet potato puff eating fool now! I even picked one up today and put it in my mouth all by myself. Mommy did some clapping and Yayying, but I really don't know why. I've been putting things into my mouth for months now. What's the big deal? Silly mommy!! I still don't have any teeth, but that doesn't stop my mommy from giving me food. She made me some yummy applesauce the other day and there are some chunks in it. I do a great job by chewing it all up and not choking on it.
We are going on a Wozniak family tradition on Sunday. Mommy is sooooo excited!!! Daddy has never been either. She keeps talking about an apple orchard where they climb trees and pick apples. Then we get to pick out a pumpkin in the pumpkin patch. She told me today that when she was a little girl, they went out for pumpkins and Grandma Marlene saw a sign that said "free pups." That was where they picked out Mandy. I never met her, but Grandpa Ron is always calling Vicky -Mandy. Mommy said Mandy was a great old dog. She also said we are NOT getting a puppy when we go this year. We will be getting apples, pumpkins, jelly, peaches and pears. Also, she wants to get some zucchini, squash and maybe some other veggies. Mommy is very excited to get the fresh produce for us to eat and try to be healthier. She said it's also cheaper and jar food.

We had breakfast with Grandpa John and Grandma Lois this morning! I ate half of mommy's fried egg! I yelled every time I was done chewing a piece and wanted more. I really had a loud mouth today, but I was so well behaved. Mommy got a chance to eat, I got a chance to try the cheesy hashbrowns YUMMY and I sucked on a few oranges. Mommy really wanted her's but she knows that I get what I want, when I want it.
Grandpa was in awe of me chewing on my eggs. There's no teeth in there, but I gum everything really nice now. I even got to try some grits. Daddy really likes them and gave me a nip.
We joked about how Grandpa didn't like the password, so next password will be his phone number, when it's handed out, you can call him anytime you want to!!

HI Everyone!!! I've been really busy doing things the last few days. I can really clap my hands when you sing the "if you're happy and you know it" song. I've also started practicing my waving. I don't know what it means yet and I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm doing it. I also ate some really yummy Sweet Potato Puffs today. I was chewing them with my gums. It was the cutest thing ever! Mommy was so nervous that I was going to choke on them. But I fooled her by doing so well. We'll continue to practice.
Mommy and I went to the Giant tonight for eggs and a head of cabbage. Why a head of cabbage you ask? To help dry up mommy's milk. It's been recommended a few places to put cabbage leaves in your bra to help ease the pain and dry up the milk. She smells funny too. We got to the store and Mommy asked me to carry the cabbage. I did like she asked, but I told everyone in the store what it was for. I was giggling the whole way. I even told the cashier what it was for. Mommy doesn't think that they understood though because nobody said anything. Mommy is pretty happy that nobody understood, but I'm telling everyone here! It's really helping though.
