Sonyea met Great Grandma Kay and Great Grandpa Roger again today. First time they saw each other was when she was less than 24 hours old. Sonyea was very happy to see them again! She was talking up a storm. She enjoyed the bottle that Grandma gave her and even spit up a bit on her. We will have to visit more often.

Sonyea also met Great Grandma Elaine today. She was so happy to see Sonyea. Sonyea was very good and told her lots of stories too. Then she had a bottle and told more stories. Sonyea is very lucky to have so many Grandmas and Grandpas!

Wow, it's really tiring sitting here trying to figure everything out. Mommy's eyes are getting tired. It's very late and we are going garage sale-ing bright and early in the morning. There is a few things on the list we are looking for. Keep your fingers crossed that we find them so that our trip isn't a bust.
Sonyea was awake for most of the day today. Not sure why she decided not to nap much. But she was a very good girl. Hardly fussed until right before bedtime because she was hungry and tired. She's taking a 6oz bottle before bed. For almost 2 weeks she was sleeping through the night, now she's decided to get up 1-2 times to eat. She's a growing baby afterall!
We admit it, we were watching Springer this morning!

Yesterday was Mommy's first Mother's Day. Sonyea was a very good girl. We spent the weekend in Buffalo. Mommy and Daddy went on a date Friday night and fishing on Saturday. Sonyea was pretty good for Grandma and Grandpa but she did cry a lot because she's not used to being away from Mommy so much.
We had a cookout on Sunday and everyone came over!
We didn't get to Niagara Falls as planned though. Mommy thought it was too chilly and windy for Sonyea to go. Next time we are going to Niagara Falls so we can take pictures for our friend Lucas and his mommy in St Louis!
Sonyea got to bring home Grandma Marlene's jumper, be sure to check out the montage mommy made. She thought the song from Mary Poppins was pretty funny. The jumper makes a great nanny!More pictures to come!

today was our first outing to Otsinango Park. It was so cool! While we were walking around the lake, we saw a HUGE snapping turtle. Of course, mommy didn't have the camera to take a picture of our first reptile sighting. It was really afraid of us because we went running right up to it at full speed with the stroller. It was standing up tall on it's hind legs and hissing at us. We would never dream of hurting it, but we wanted to get a really good look at it! It was walking up from the river across the path and over the grass to the lake. Next time, we bring the camera! And we wait for it.
All the while Daddy was walking Vicky. Daddy had never been to that park either. He really liked it and said next time we go walking there, he's bringing his fishing pole and going fishing. We also saw a bad couple walking a dog that didn't pick up it's poop! Naughty!
