Holy cow!!  Sonyea slept for 7 straight hours last night!!  So, I got a great 6 hours of sleep in a row!!  That's a record so far.  =)  Have been getting a good 7-9 hours of sleep every night, but not straight.  She must be going through a growth spurt again because she ate all day today and slept the times she wasn't eating.  I'm so tired!

Took Vicky to the groomers today and left Sonyea home with her Daddy.  It's not very often that the two of them get to spend time together alone. I was gone for almost 2 hours, I know it's not a long time, but it's long enough for now.  The two of them are still feeling each other out and Jimmy is still learning what to do to calm her if she starts crying.

On the poop front, she had what sounded like a major explosion, but it really was just a normal every day poop.  She's starting to have them every day now, just need to get her doing it a few times a day like a normal breastfed baby should.  I know with the formula suppliments it clogs them up, but she should be getting enough formula to combat that.

Gave her tummy time today, she was laying on the quilt that Mrs. Paeplow gave us.  I'll have to get pics of it up.  It's quite a piece of work.  I can't image how long it took to make.  It's the most coolest thing I've seen in a long time.  Sonyea was looking at all the animals that were in arms reach while she was playing today.  She was also playing with her newest giraffe toy.  It's got a lot of colours and crazy shapes and makes crinkle noises when you touch it.  She even reached out for it a few times.  While laying around for belly time today, she held her head up for so long.  Finally got the camera out to take a pic and she flopped it back down.  Figures!

I can't believe how many hits this site gets in a day.  I never thought so many people would be checking us out every day.  Kinda makes me feel a bit guilty for not updating it daily.  I will try to do better, but I can't promise anything.

Sonyea is doing great today.  Actually, she's been sleeping most of the time.  Last night she slept for over a 6 hour stretch, then slept again for another 4 hours, then again for another 3!  She was up for a little while then napped again.  I knew babies slept alot, but didn't realize it was this much. Best part is she's really happy most of the time when she is up.  Her temper takes over a little bit if you don't feed her fast enough when she's ready, or if she's really tired again.  I think she takes after me with the temper.  I've changed so much over the last 3 weeks though.  My temper has been almost non-existant and I have a world of patience now.  Never thought that would happen and I always thought that Jimmy would have to help me curb it...but it's actually been the other way around.  He's doing better, but he has his moments.

She had another explosive poop today that just kept coming and coming.  I tried talking to her about having a bunch every day instead of one giant one every 2-3 days.  I'm sure it would make her feel better.  We'll see how she listened.  It looked like she took it all in.

She finally pooped last night, but today she seems to be constipated again.  We have a scheduled well visit tomorrow and will ask about it then.  She also had her first trip to the grocery store today.  She was so good.  Slept through the whole outing.  Got a little fussy at the end when we were in line.  She doesn't like it when the car stops moving, or the stroller stops moving, or the vibration stops in her pack-n-play.  She likes to be in motion.

Happy Birthday to Cousin Jacob today!

I just updated the slideshow a bit.  Please check out the new pics.  =)  There are some on there from us playing dress up.

We are a little concerned today, Sonyea looks to be a bit yellow.  We will watch her and call the Doctor in the morning if we have to.  Otherwise, she's doing great, still sleeping good, eating good and overall a great baby!

We are so lucky with this little girl!  Last night after Jimmy got home from work, he took her while I went to bed.  He gave her a bottle and hung out.  They went to bed at 1am and I had to wake her up at 5am to eat!  Then I had to wake her up at 9am to eat again because I had to get my staples removed.  She's such a good baby!  Of course, that's forgetting the horrible nights sleep the last two nights. Smile

Just got the phone call from the pediatrician.  Her jaundice levels are back up.  So, back on the bili-blanket for now.  We have to go back in two days for another blood draw.  Her poor feet....<sigh>  After two days of freedom, we are now back to having a tail and plugged in.  I'm really pretty sad about it, but we need to do what we have to do to get her levels back to normal.
