Long update

So much has happened since we last updated the page!!  First of all, on Wednesday, our internet went out.  The fixer guy came Sunday morning to fix it even though he wasn't scheduled until Monday.  We are all happy to have our internet back on!!

Thursday, Mommy left me all afternoon with Daddy and I slept just about the entire time she was gone.  I do that all the time!!  She had to go to her doctor to set up prenatal visits for the new baby.  We are officially due April 22nd, but will have a scheduled c-section the week before.  We'll have a diamond baby, no matter what!!!  We get to have an ultrasound done September 4th to make sure the baby is where (s)he should be and we'll be able to see the heartbeating.  I'm going to go and be a big girl, unless Mommy changes her mind as the date gets closer and gets a sitter.  She said she'll let me know.

Friday, I got to go see Dr. Abueg.  His nurse, Mary is really cool.  It always makes me nervous though when she picks me up and puts me on the scale.  Then she lays me down and makes marks on the paper.  Mommy was so proud of me.  I'm 34.25 inches tall and 31 pounds.  My head circumference is 20 inches.  I'm still way off the charts, but Dr Abueg says I'M PERFECT!!  I even showed him what a shark says.  He thought that was pretty funny and I'm a smart cookie for knowing so many animal noises and actions.  They all joked around about how tall I'm going to be.  They figure I'll be over 6 ft tall.  If I'm going to be in the Olympics, I'll have to be a volleyball player or basketball.  Both Mommy and Daddy said I have to play volleyball because they don't like basketball.  After all the joking around though, he checked me out.  My ears are perfect, my mouth looks good, he even checked out my wrists because Mommy was concerned about the size of one of the bones but he said it's all good.  There's a "growth plate" in the hands and feet and if one is bigger than the other it'll eventually even out as it grows.  I got dressed and then Mary came back in the room carrying something I didn't quite recognize.  She made me lay down and Mommy was talking softly to me and rubbing my head.  That made me feel better.  I got 3 shots and only whimpered for a second with the 2nd shot.  Mommy was so proud of me for being such a big trooper and not getting all carryied away with crying.  Mommy said she has to get a flu shot in a few months but I'm not sure how that is supposed to make me feel better.  The best news all day, is that I don't have to get any more shots until I'm 4 years old!!!  We didn't get the chicken pox vaccine though.  Mommy said I have to wait until we meet up with a kid with them or get the vax right before school starts.  I did run a low grade fever later that night and was very cranky but overall I did great with the shots.

Shortly after we got home, Mommy's phone rang and we ran downstairs.  GRAMMIE AND GRANDPA RON were here!!!!  Mommy told me that they were coming earlier in the day but I had forgotten.  What fun that was.  We hung out and played, then we walked down to the park and I got to walk Vicky again.  We had some dinner and then went to Humdinger for ice cream.  I really like those.  I went right to bed because it was a big day.

When I woke up on Saturday, Mommy and Daddy were gone and I got to spend the entire day with Grammie and Grandpa alone.  We went to Arnold Park.  I showed them how to play on the swings and slides and in the sand box.  For lunch, we stopped at McDonald's.  I then took a good nap after Grandpa rubbed my back to help me fall asleep.  After nap, we took Vicky for a long walk again.  I'm the best dog walker in the world!!  For dinner, we ran down the hill to the Park Diner and guess who showed up??  Mommy and Daddy!!!!!  They were back from their wine tasting tour at Seneca Lake.  They said they had fun... but I bet they didn't have nearly as much fun as I did with Grammie and Grandpa.

Sunday was fun too.  I took Grammie and Grandpa down to the park by our house again and made Grammie go down the slide with me.  They were gone by the time I woke up from nap.  I hate that...but they had to go back to Buffalo.  We'll see them again in a few weeks when Grammie comes to watch me while Mommy and Daddy go to a wedding.

Mommy had to wake me up from my nap Sunday though.  I was so tired still, but we had to go to a picnic at our friend's house in Newark Valley.  We haven't seen Morgan and Mathieu and Yvonne and Brian in a really long time.  Guess who else came??  Nicholas and his mommy and daddy and Aiden with his parents as well.  I also got to meet another baby and her Mommy but it's really late and I forget their names right now.

I'm currently giving Mommy and Daddy A REALLY HARD TIME FALLING ASLEEP.  My teeth are killing me.  Mommy really hopes this stage doesn't last much longer.  My sleep is severely being disrupted and she doesn't like it when I don't get as much sleep because it stresses her out.  Silly mommy!!

Thanks to our friends Amy and Dave for inviting Mommy and Daddy to their wine tasting party bus tour.  Thanks to Grammie and Grandpa for visiting so they could go.  Thanks to our friends Yvonne and Brian for having us over to play with their really cool backyard fun toys!!

We are very happy to have our internet back as well.  It looks to be another busy week and Mommy said we'll have to hurry up and finish packing because we are moving at the end of the week!
