The other night I took Sophia outside to see the Ducks by our canal. Abel came out with bread shortly after. It was cute. Sophia loves the ducks and after seeing me do it would point at each of them and yell, "Duh!" lol. I would ask, Sophia where is the duck and the little finger would come up, she would point and go, "Duh!" She seems to do very well with words starting with D. Very easy, I guess. Dadda, Down, Duck...
Once we were through with the bread, we practically got chased back to our sliding glass door by the ducks. I guess they did not believe us. So, we go inside and Sophia stays by the window standing up and looking and yelling at the ducks through the glass. The cats were also there and quite enthralled with the dozen ducks cozied up to our sliding glass door. LOL.
Most of them leave and Sophia is left staring at one duck who is staring at the yellow barrette Sophia is holding in her hand as if it thinks the barrette is a piece of bread. 3 seconds later we hear, "THWACK, THWACK" and realize (and SEE) the frigging duck pecking at the bow THROUGH the glass trying to get at it! Dude. I got a picture of it, too! Those sucks are aggressive!!!! Sophia pulled the bow back like, "Hey, man?!" LOL. Abel and I were howling but at the same time we were very happy the glass was there. Crazy ducks.
