So we finally found the USB cord to the camera so we can now transfer the pics to the PC. This came exactly one day after I bought a replacement after holding out for a month...figures *sigh* Oh well, it's been returned and all's good. Theres a couple of videos I'll try to post too. Nothing major, just Stefen acting like a nut. If you get time check back in a couple days for the vids.
Jerriel, Stefen and I will be heading off to buy a costume for him today. Yeah, we put it off for a while but we just haven't been happy with any that we've seen lately. Guess we'll have to make something work tonight. Then we'll be off to collect a whole bunch of candy he really doesnt need and hopefully won't miss when I redeliever it into other kids bags >:) We'll post pics on Monday morning! Check back then.

Last night Jerriel and I were sitting on the couch just hanging out. While we were watching tv my sister called. So I’m talking to her while Stefen was playing in his bedroom. Then it got real quiet. We didn’t hear him playing with any toys, he wasn’t talking to himself, nothing. Jerriel got up to go check on him. I’m still sitting on the couch talking away on the phone and Jerriel said something like, “This isn’t very good.” And he was holding up some kind of plastic white wrapper. I looked at him all confused and Stefen comes strutting out into the living with this little smirk on his face chewing away. At some point he must have taken a roll of chocolate chip cookies off the kitchen counter, ran to his room, and mowed down on them. Luckily, there wasn’t many left but he still had about 4 or 5. I could not stop laughing even long enough to try to tell my sister what happened. Just the way he walked out into the living room was killing me. That little bugger knew he got away with something.

Yes, i see your request for pictures of Daddy, Mommy and Stefen all together. Those have been in the plans but it just hasnt happened yet. We've been talking about it a lot but just havent gotten to it. We need someone to take the pictures for us so as soon as we get a willing photographer that doesnt want an arm and a leg we'll do it! (hint hint :) Not really, we will end up going to walmart and getting them done if we have too. They dont charge too much, i just kinda wanted them outside, now we just have to find the time.

I read this and had to post it....
The Price of Children
The government recently calculated the cost of raising a child from birth to 18 and came up with $160,140 for a middle income family. Talk about sticker shock! That doesn't even touch college tuition.
But $160,140 isn't so bad if you break it down. It translates into:
* $8,896.66 a year,
* $741.38 a month, or
* $171.08 a week.
* That's a mere $24..24 a day!
* Just over a dollar an hour.
Still, you might think the best financial advice is don't have children if you want to be "rich."
Actually, it is just the opposite.
What do you get for your $160,140?
* Naming rights. First, middle, and last!
* Glimpses of God every day.
* Giggles under the covers every night.
* More love than your heart can hold.
* Butterfly kisses and Velcro hugs.
* Endless wonder over rocks, ants, clouds, and warm cookies.
* A hand to hold, usually covered with jelly or chocolate.
* A partner for blowing bubbles, flying kites
* Someone to laugh yourself silly with, no matter what the boss said or how your stocks performed that day.
For $160,140, you never have to grow up. You get to:
* finger-paint,
* carve pumpkins,
* play hide-and-seek,
* catch lightning bugs, and
* never stop believing in Santa Claus.
You have an excuse to:
* keep reading the Adventures of Piglet and Pooh,
* watching Saturday morning cartoons,
* going to Disney movies, and
* wishing on stars.
* You get to frame rainbows, hearts, and flowers under refrigerator magnets and collect spray painted noodle wreaths for Christmas, hand prints set in clay for Mother's Day, and cards with backward letters for Father's Day.
For $160,140, there is no greater bang for your buck.
You get to be a hero just for:
* retrieving a Frisbee off the garage roof,
* taking the training wheels off a bike,
* removing a splinter,
* filling a wading pool,
* coaxing a wad of gum out of bangs, and coaching a baseball team that never wins but always gets treated to ice cream or pizza regardless.
You get a front row seat to history, to witness the:
* first step,
* first word,
* first bra,
* first date, and
* first time behind the wheel.
You get to be immortal. You get another branch added to your family tree, and if you're lucky, a long list of limbs in your obituary called grandchildren and great grandchildren. You get an education in psychology, nursing, criminal justice, communications, and human sexuality that no college can match.
In the eyes of a child, you rank right up there under God. You have all the power to heal a boo-boo, scare away the monsters under the bed, patch a broken heart, police a slumber party, ground them forever, and love them without limits. So, one day they will, like you, love without counting the cost. That is quite a deal for the price!!!!!!!

This boy cracks me up! He just laughed his first real laugh 2 days ago. He's been doing a 'haaaaaa' type laugh but now he does a 'ha ha ha' type laugh and i love it! He was sitting in his little saucer play chair and i'd go "ARRRRRR!" like a pirate does and bend down towards him and he thinks its the funnest thing in the world. Its so funny, that when he laughs it makes me laugh, its just hilarious! Im thinking of upgrading my account soon so i can add movies just to show you guys, its sooo worth it and then i wouldnt have to delete any pictures either! :)

Guess i should probably do a journal update since its been a couple months. Stefen is up a lot more then when he was a newborn, makes it a little harder to get stuff done thoughout the day. I used to be able to do everything when he slept, now he'll only take a couple naps a day and i'm lucky if they last an hour. (fingers crossed this is one of those times)
He's kinda funny when i wake him up in the mornings, one of the first things he does is throws his feet up in the air and grabs them. Do you know how hard it is to change a diaper and fasten it at 4:30 in the morning when a kid has a hold of his feet the whole time.
He also can sit up now if you sit him up. He kinda leans forward quite a bit though, kinda like hes trying to eat his feet. But usually he does pretty good and can sometimes last a minute or two then he falls over.
Alright, this is it for an update, i know its short but so are his naps and i have other stuff i need to do. Dont forget to check out the new pics and if you want any of them you might want to try to save them now. I have now run out of room on here so to add any new ones some will have to be deleted. Sad but true
