Thank goodness its October! I can't wait for Halloween to get here this year, for a couple reasons! First being the girls are both old enough this year to really "get it" and I know they are going to have a blast. The 2nd being that on Halloween I will be at 28 weeks and that will be such a wonderful feeling, especially if we get there with still no complications!!
I have another appt. tomorrow so I will post on how that went.
Thanks to some awesome friends and family we have received some things we desperately needed, although we still need more stuff, which is starting to overwhelm me a little.
And I have had about 4 people this past week ask me when the baby shower will be and I have to say probably won't be, so not to seem greedy, but if you were waiting out for a baby shower to get us a gift, there most likely won't be one unless Matt and I break all rules of etiquette and throw one for ourselves! LOL! But here are some things we still really need and we also have a couple new registries if you are wanting to find "the perfect" gift. We are not ashamed at all to use hand me downs either!
crib, bottles, bibs, diaper genie refills, hooded bath towels, wipes warmer, double stroller, bouncy seat, bumbo chair(2), pack n play sheets, bassinet sheets, cradle sheets, crib mattress, and anything else you might see on our registry.
The nursery is going to be done in light pink and light green with white accents. I have my crib bedding sets, but could always use a few extra crib sheets to have on hand. I also really need a diaper stacker, it can be light pink or light green, but it needs to be able to be hung or tied on the end of the crib.
Babies are doing good from what I can tell they move around a ton and kick me ALOT! Its also been impossible for me to sleep the past 3 days so according to Alexis and Matt, I am CRABBY! Maybe tonight I can sleep for more than 30 minutes in one shot.
Have a great week and weekend!

23 weeks-WHOHOO!! posted on 09/26/2008
Doc says I have made it to another milestone today, so yeah for me!! I am at 23 weeks today and had another checkup with Dr. Fleming. Which went wonderful! He says I am doing awesome! He has no doubt that I will make it to 35 weeks unless something major/unforeseen happens. Halloween is our next big goal to make it to, I will be 28 weeks that day and the babies have a much better chance of survival if they should be born then.
So far I have had nothing wrong, no complications whatsoever. No cramping, no contractions, no bleeding. My cervix was at 3.5 on the 15th, today it was at 4.6, so another WHOHOO for me, its getting bigger again! As long as it stays above a 3 we are good to go. Doc says I look great and the babies look wonderful. He also said there's no reason I can't be doing the stuff I want to do, like mowing the yard and lifting things that everyone else says are too heavy for me.
All 3 girls looked wonderful, moving around alot. Baby A's heartbeat was 145 and she weighs 1 pound 7 ozs. Baby B's heartbeat was 143 and she weighs 1 pound 3 ozs. Baby C's heartbeat was 145 and she weighs 1 pound 3 ozs.
So things are going good and I feel good. And after my appt today I am super happy, things seem to be going well which makes me feel so much better. My next appt is with Dr. Albin so we will see how things go then. I see Dr. Fleming again at the end of the month. He seems to think I am super woman! GO ME!!
Have a great weekend!! We are painting the girls room and hopefully get cribs put together!

I am a little slow lately, forgive me. At my appt. last Thursday my cervix measured at 3.4 and my u/s tech seemed concerned, then the doctor totally freaked me out. So I spent the rest of the day worried and wondering. I had already placed ads for my garage sale and so I knew I must get my butt in gear and get it all set up. I am glad I did as I got rid of quit a bit of stuff and made decent money, I just have a few more things I would really love to get rid of but maybe one of these days I will get the chance to list on Ebay.
So I didn't spend the weekend resting as I am sure I should have, too much going on and I am too determined. I went back to the doc Monday, and my cervix actually grew! HA! I told everyone these babies weren't coming out till I was ready for them to, so obviously they got the memo. It only grew by like .2 but hey its not getting smaller. So that made everyone happy. My BP was a little higher than last week, not high just higher so she wondered if I was having headaches, well hell yes I have headaches, I have been a single mom to a 4 going on 15 yr old and 2 yr old for a week, plus I spent the whole weekend freaked out that I was going to be doomed to bedrest now.
So the doctor says things look fine, all babies were movin and groovin and had strong heartbeats. I see my peri. doc on the 26th and he better give me a good report as well. I am a very determined lady and wasn't kidding when I told everyone these babies were staying in till Dec. 18th!
So I turn the big 2-7 Thursday and people ask me what I want, I finally decided today I need a maid, a daily massage and a chaffeur. Why...well its getting rather hard to bend over so much cleaning is a LOT of work for me, my belly seems to grow daily and my back hurts more each day and these trips to Norfolk are starting to make me nuts. So I hope everyone can arrange those gifts! LOL!
Keep us in your prayers as we need it.

Glowing to Miserable in 2 days posted on 09/12/2008
2 days ago I was happy and loving being pregnant. Today I am miserable, its 1:15 in the morning and guess who can't sleep. I literally went from being totally happy loving this pregnancy to miserable in 2 days. My back is killing me today, doesn't help I desperately need to see a chiropractor but don't seem to have time. I have heartburn straight from hell and I can't fall asleep. AAAHHHH!!
I am trying to stay happy and positive but since I haven't been sleeping it makes it a little hard to do.
I had an appt. Thursday, my cervix changed from 4.6 to 3.4 so they were a little alarmed. I had to see Dr. Albin's partner Dr. Heffron and I can't stand the old geezer so that didn't help either. He had me all worked up as he acted like the end was near. So I left as quick as I could and called Dr. Fleming's office and talked to a great nurse who told me not to be worried, that 3.4 was still very much in the normal range. She talked with Dr. Fleming's partner and he said he would recommend that I have another u/s Monday which Dr. Heffron had already ordered, so he said we would see what happens after that. I have no idea what that means, but please pray that my cervix just doesn't change so I don't have to find out.
I don't know if taking it easy has anything to do with any of this, I am so tired and so overwhelmed the past week that I have no idea what to even ask or say to my doctors. But it seems my life just keeps getting more busy and insane day by day, so I don't foresee any taking it easy in the schedule.
Pray that things stay the same and this will all pass and I can get some much needed sleep sometime very soon.

I am at 20 weeks now, which seems to have flown by, but now time seems to be creeping by. I enjoy being pregnant and I feel great, so no complaints there. I hate the cold weather and this winter might just kill me. I hate being stuck at home and its even worse now with no place to go around Atkinson. So I can use any kind of human interaction anyone wants to offer.
I am having a huge garage sale this weekend, so that will keep me busy this week getting prepared for it, I just gotta find the motivation to get it all marked and set up. If you have a little girl you should seriously come check it out as I am getting rid of a ton!
I also hope to get the nursery painted this week, we'll see if I can get my brother to come in and help me with it. And thanks to a very generous old friend I think I might be set on the 3rd crib we needed and a few other things I was hoping to have as well. Thank goodness there are still a few people out there that care and want to help people when they can! Thanks!
Alexis goes to preschool Mon.-Thurs. every morning and then Mon. & Wed. in the afternoons so that keeps me a little busy, mostly just trying to remember what she needs to be taking where and when! its nice because she loves the social part and she is learning so much and it gives Haddy and I some time to just hang out. We usually watch spongebob for a few hours in the morning and then try to do some cleaning.
I have been feeling great, no complaints at all, and sleeping ok as well. Its funny I have had several people not knowing I am expecting triplets ask when I am due, I tell them Jan. 23. They usually look at me funny, you can see the gears turning they are calculating how far along I am and how big I should be and then they will say something like "oh" or "really?" then I tell them yes but I am having triplets, that usually makes them more confused till they understand. I find it funny.
Hope everyone has a good week, mine will be busy I am sure. Dr. appt Thursday again, my vehicle should be able to drive itself to Norfolk soon.

19 week appt. posted on 09/04/2008
Appt. today with Dr. Albin, another long drive to Norfolk for a brief 15 minute appt. I am getting tired of the drive. All 3 babies looked great. Baby A heart rate was 140, Baby B was 132, Baby C was 136. My blood pressure was 98/48 which seemed really low to me but my nurse said it was great. My cervix measured at 5 last week and 4.9 this week, my nurse said it could just be the slight difference in u/s machines. Either way she said no one gets alarmed till it goes below a 3, so we are still doing great. All 3 babies are growing right on track.
My belly measures at 30 weeks and I will be 20 weeks tomorrow, and Dr. Albin says I will really see the growth after about 23 weeks!
Time seems to be going by really fast and I have so much I still need to get and get done for the babies room and I want to do it while I still feel good. Hopefully this weekend I will get some things organized and put away.

Guess What??!!??!! posted on 09/01/2008
We are having 3 GIRLS! We are very excited, a little disappointed, maybe more surprised than anything that they are all 3 girls, but we are so happy. And they are all 3 very healthy and growing at the same pace so we are very happy and excited about it all. We did some shopping this weekend while in Omaha to try to pick up a few things we needed. and its nice that we won't have to buy as many clothes, however I am sure we will still need clothing.
So wish us all the best, I am sure Matt and I will both need medicated in about 10 years when all 5 of the girls are hitting that "stage" in life. Scares the heck out of me already!

well I am now at 19 weeks! WHOHOO! I am over half done, unless I am going to perform a real miracle and last longer than 35-36 weeks. Time seems to be going by really fast.
We had an appt with Dr. Fleming in Omaha, so we are spending the weekend here, did some shopping and were going to the zoo today but time got away from us, so we will hit the zoo tomorrow morning when its a little cooler.
We got to tour the NICU and also the labor and delivery, even though I will be having a c section I will recover in labor and delivery and God Forbid if I get put on hospital bedrest that is where I would stay until the babies come. All the nurses were GREAT and made us feel very welcome and I love Dr. Fleming so I truly believe we are in excellent hands! We saw some REALLY tiny babies, which just gave me more motivation to keep these babies in here even longer! I told Dr. Fleming that I was scheduling my c section for Dec. 18th and he said he'd keep his morning open, and that would be awesome if I can stay pregnant that long. so everyone pray it works out!
We did find out the sexes of the babies, but we have decided to wait to tell everyone. So for those of you that are DYING to know, you have to wait a few more days. We want to tell all our families in person. Check back here next week and I will promise to have it posted here by next week.
All babies are healthy, moving all over the place and all the same size, which Dr. Fleming said is so awesome! Most times one baby will be much smaller than the other 2, but so far all 3 of my babies are growing the exact same, and measured at 18 weeks 6 days, so they are just one day short of being perfect, but doc says thats better than most women, so he's very happy. My cervix also measured at almost 6 again and thats super too. All in all I am doing wonderful and still feel great, even though I have grown ALOT in the last few days alone.
Stay tuned to find out if they are girls, boys or both!
