JOURNAL It's been a while so I'll give a lil update.....posted on 09/17/2009 So we are more than half way thru this pregnancy and so far so good (with a few exceptions but nothing major). We got Tristan a toddler bed to try to transition him but we all know how strong willed he is, he has taken 2 naps in it. I try to let him lay in it everyday for nap time but he'll go for an hour getting up and playing and taking his clothes out his drawers (the new baby stuff too) so he ends up in the crib. I have tried to explain baby to him and have let him feel the baby move but he is just not interested lol. He still lays on me and I guess new baby doesn't like it and will kick like crazy but Tristan won't move. I am home during the day with him now since Mat is back to school. We are working on his speech since his therapist took time off to get married. When I can I take him to the park and just let him run around. He is such a curious kid, he likes going thru the wooded parts and looking at the flowers (weeds really) and checking out rocks, it really is cute how excited he gets about lil things like this. So we still don't know if we are adding a prince or princess to the family but we are excited either way. We are having a Sprinkle next month to celebrate this new life and I can't wait to see my friends and family. |
