Our first weekly photo is up! We decided to do a little theme. I'm holding a half-eaten peach in my hand, in case you were wondering. It's the craving of the week. It certainly seems to change every few days, so we thought this would be a fun way to do our weekly photo shoots. My camisole will work really well for the whole time, I think. Even if it does show off my fancy shmancy farmers tan. :D At least I didn't let Steve talk me into wearing some really short, albeit stretchy, shorts. To give you a hint of what that would be like, we call them booty shorts. Yea. Not really the type of thing I want to show off to everybody, no matter how good Steve says I look in them. Besides, he's a guy and my husband. Of course he's gonna like 'em.
For me, almost to the day of hitting the second trimester, I've been blessed with the bane of headaches. I understand it's really common to have them during this time. I could just wish I was trading one symptom for another instead of creating my very own collection of pregnancy enjoyments (think heavy sarcasm). Being around technology seems to make my headaches worse. TV, computer, cell phone, radio, even the drone of fans or the AC unit bother me a lot. Makes me wish I had the peace and quiet of camping. Way too much work for me right now, though. I've somehow managed to get out of pretty much all the household chores. Yeah, baby, yeah! Of course, I'd probably be pretty resentful if I still had to do the dishes on days we'll just call "puke-fests." It's little things like that that remind me often how lucky I am to be married to a man like Steve. I do my best to not take him for granted.
