As I Watch You Sleeping

As I watch you sleeping,
my problems seem so small.
The rewards you have to offer me,
are so big and so tall.

As I watch you sleeping,
I realize just how great your accomplishments are.
I know how much you struggle
to have made it this far.

As I watch you sleeping,
I can't imagine how my life would be without you.
Even through the hard times
I'd be lost without you.

As I watch you sleeping,
I see just how much you have brought into my life.
All the joys and happiness,
all the wonder and excitement.

As I watch you sleeping,
I am overcome with such love.
Your sweetness and happiness,
are something I can't get enough of.

As I watch you sleeping,
I think just how lucky I am.
To be the mother of such
a beautiful little boy.

As I watch you sleeping,
all of my worries seem to melt away.
I know that no matter what happens,
together we can make it through another day.

We are hosting our first Gala, Wyatt's Warriors Have A Heart Gala" on Friday February 13th 2009 at Tosca Banquet Hall in Whitby, Ontario. There will be a 5 course meal, open bar, live entertainment, DJ and dancing, silent auction, raffles, door prizes and more. The cost for the night of fun is $100 per person. Please register as soon as possible as seats are limited. Please pass the word along, as anyone is welcome. Funds raised will be distributed between The Cardiac Critical Care Unit at SickKids, and Wyatt. Come on out, bring your Valentine, bring your friends, and have a lot of fun all the while raising awareness of Congenital Heart Defects, and helping to Support Wyatt, and all the other little ones there with him. We hosted our 1st Annual Charity Golf Event, at Newcastle Golf Club, on Saturday June 7, 2008. We had a beautiful day.... Excellent weather, great people, tonnes of fun, great food, and lots of prizes.... The only thing missing was Wyatt and Lisa.... Hopefully they will be there next year! I want to thank everyone who came out, everyone who volunteered there time before, after and during the event, and everyone who sponsored in one way or another. I do not have final numbers yet for how much was raised, but I will let you know when I know. Proceeds will be helping Wyatt as well as The SickKids Foundation, at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario. I hope to make next years event even bigger and better, and hope to see you all there again, along with Wyatt and Lisa. We also hosted our first Casino Rama bus trip, back on October 4th, and I want to thank those of you who came out and showed your support there as well. We had a lot of fun!!! I think we all came home with empty pockets, but it was fun nonetheless. There are a few pictures on here for anyone interested, in the Fall 2008 folder.
